Sweden here. Difficult to say if it's more difficult here than in other countries, but I do think day game is a BIG NO-NO here. Going up and talking to someone in the middle of the day is reserved for crazy people. Strongly disagree. It's an incredibly overplayed myth that nobody here ever wants to talk to others. Is it harder than other places? A little, maybe. But it's most definitely possible to open and #-close through normal daygame.

The problem with canned responses and routines is that they won't directly help you build a genuine and lasting relationship with another person. They're more like training wheels, and should eventually be abandoned for something that fits you better. For some people, that means moving towards a more natural game and for others, it means using other routines that they like better. But, if [being yourself is] that simple, why isn't everybody doing it...? Because it's not that simple. A lot of peo…

It says "Every Monday & Friday: Seddit Simple Questions Thread" right there in the sidebar. It seems they missed it this Friday, which probably is a mistake.

I believe the mods encourage sedditors to not engage in those discussions. 9/10 attempts at "defending us" is either terrible from an argumentative standpoint or is simply showered with hate and preemptively dismissed no matter what the commenter specifically says. Hopefully a mod sees this and can clarify. I wanted anyone who wants to retort to at least be aware of this. I personally feel no need to defend myself from those kinds of attacks. Blanket statements and uninformed opinions expressed …

i live in scandinavia things seem quite different all together. So do I, and you're exaggerating. That's what I used to believe until I actually tried talking to people. If anything, talking to girls is easier because they aren't used to someone showing their interest. The same is true for everyone else.

So I'm about to open a mixed set, right? There'll be a guy or three and any number of girls. Unless anything weird is going on I'll always open one of the guys first. "I'm here to have fun talking to this guy, not necessarily to hit on you girls" is what I'm looking to project. The guy will be cool and all, but I get stuck in a mental lock here. It feels like taking any initiative in directing my attention towards one of the girls will attract fierce resistance from the guys and trigger their in…

First, I'd like to make a point. If you're going to abandon old hobbies in favor of new ones, please make sure you're doing it for the right reasons. Do it because you feel like your old ones don't make you happy, not because you want to be more interesting in the eyes of girls. Trust me, it's possible to have a healthy sex life while maintaining an interest in things like video games and anime. There's two sides to this warning. There's the part about doing it for your own sake, but also the pa…

IMO the best course is to touch on that stuff a bit after you've already built some attraction This is a point I haven't thought of before. I'm just looking for any chance to build rapport ASAPly, but I guess that deep rapport without attraction won't help me build anything but a platonic connection. Thoughts?

I started by getting comfortable touching my friends. For example putting my hand on their shoulder/upper arm when emphasizing a point and little stuff like that. Once I got comfortable doing it to my friends, I just started doing it to other people in exactly the same way. There should be tons of threads explaining basic kino, don't be afraid to use the search function.

Completely agree with ImKumarYo. Not drinking is recommended because it's easy to turn it into a crutch. It's far too common for people to feel like they can't do anything if they haven't gotten some alcohol into the system. Drink as long as you enjoy it and it doesn't impair your game or it's becoming a crutch.

Do you know if it's any different in Bangkok? Half white and my Thai mothers side of the family is quite well off there (living in gated communities, businessmen, etc.). I plan to go there after finishing school because I feel weird being the only person of Thai descent I know that can't speak Thai. I can't say I'm not looking forward to it, but it seems like it's quite a mire, trying to wade through racism and gold-diggers. So unless I make use of the social circles of my relatives, do I have t…

Not OP, so take my advice as you will. Good old Levi's is most commonly suggested if you don't know where to go with jeans. They have several slimmer fitting cuts like the 511 and 510, and offer good quality at a very reasonable price. Try checking the fit guide in the /r/malefashionadvice sidebar if you are unsure how jeans are supposed to fit. Also remember that if they will most likely stretch a bit.

I tend to overthink a lot, how do I get rid of that? You overthink because you lack outcome-independence. Yes, I keep repeating it, and it's for a good reason. What you're doing is trying your best to make the interaction go as well as possible, right? But that's actually a huge problem. Unintuitive as it may be, the more effort you put into making the interaction go well, the more likely you are to fail. The reason for this is that you're not letting your thoughts and feelings flow. If you're p…

Now they're non insanely hot but really tall and underweight. That's even better, now we know for sure that looks are not necessary. Sure they help, but you can look like an ogre and still charm girls like nobody's business. The problem is this: the girl approaches and then what? Regardless of whether you are the one who approached or if she did it, you still need a solid inner game. Your inner game affects everything you do, from your posture to your tonality to god knows what. This is the reas…

When I try something, I want to be sure. I'm sorry, but if that's the case then you're in the wrong place. The truth is that there is no magic trick that will work in every situation. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. That's why you have to embrace the concept of outcome-independence. I know there are men who are approached and I want to learn how they do it. If there actually are guys who just walk into a bar and sit down alone and have women coming up asking to suck their dicks, then they pr…

An interest. Are you interested in her? If yes, what exactly do you want to know? Job? Birthplace? Education? Opinion about whether Greece will remain in the EU? Favourite way to pet dogs? Whether she has an innie or an outie? Most of the time, the subject wont matter. The interesting stuff starts to pop up when you ask why. Purple is your favourite colour? Why? Couldn't it have been pink? Why don't you like reading fantasy books? Are they too unrealistic?

Thanks, this is exactly the kind of answer I was looking for. I had no idea that Thai guys were considered generally unfaithful, I would have assume it to be the exact opposite. However, I'm wondering a bit about that first reason you mentioned. When you say that they assume I have money, do you mean it as in "This guy only shops at Siam Paragon" or "This guy at least doesn't live in a cardboard box"? Every country has girls looking for guys mainly for their wallet, but is this more prevalent in…

What are your experiences in Thailand? After finishing my degree, I plan to live there a year or two to at least learn the language, since it's where my mom was born. I'm half white, but I can almost always pass as an Asian as long as I don't open my mouth. How do you feel that their reaction was to you, as a foreigner, and how do you feel that Asian foreigners are viewed as opposed to white foreigners? From minimal experience, they seem to generally be quite outgoing when compared to Chinese. T…

I think it's pretty well known already that a certain amount of the content here actually is the PUA-style centered more on lines and psychology to just get laid. The way I see it, we know that it's here, but that's not what many of us are here for. It's like dismissing the entire medium of movies because snuff films exist. Unless they can address the entire spectrum of the PUA community or bring up a new argument, then I'd also say that such a topic doesn't contribute to the community. I can de…

That's what I'm suspecting too. I'm not a female, but I don't think don't think eastern Europeans are high on their wish-list. I still don't think it's bad enough that you'd consistently get rejected after a few sentences just because you're speaking English with an eastern European accent.

What good is worrying about factors out of your control going to do? Even if your race was as big of a deal as you make it out to be, you have already identified the answer yourself, which is to simply get better game. Unfair or not, since you can't change it, you're just gonna have to make lemonade with the lemons you've received. The only advice I have for ethnics in the west is to treat it like a non-issue, both internally and externally. Internally you simply have to understand that worrying…

I thought about that too, but if it's true as he said that he's managed to completely remove his accent from his English, then this theory pretty much goes out the window. In his examples he barely introduces himself before something goes wrong.

Some times I get it as the first girl( if in a 2-set) will talk to me in English then she will guess "test" or something to see if i know Swedish and when I try but fail, she will lose interest and start backing away. If sometimes the first girl does not lose interest and do that, the friend she is with(whom I also actively engage) will start pulling the first one away. This sounds really odd. As has been mentioned, I don't think that not speaking Swedish hurts you that much. I would say that th…

but most of the time the girls get visibly disappointed( and most of the time eject) if I can not keep the conversation when they switch to Swedish. I think a bit of clarification is needed here. Are they just exchanging a few words between themselves or are they completely switching over the conversation to Swedish? Additionally, I get constantly blocked by shield if I try to talk to them Blocked by shield? Are they physically moving away the moment they notice you or something? according to ot…
