This is good writing, thanks. I am beginning to feel like lots of MRP problems can be distilled into "who am I, who do I want to be, in what way would a person like that act, what do I need to do to become him"

It seems like usually the main problem isn't too much focus on the man's own private life in modern western marriages, though... It's funny how the two top comments here have opposite opinions on this. This is a redpill sub, and the man having as his primary mission his spouse and family doesn't really follow redpill princuples.

Every now and then I am hit in the face with the materialism and car-centrism of U.S. culture. Where I live (in christian culture) those are not considered any kind of prerequisite, students are expected to be broke. Think about it: there's a girl who would be with you for the rest of your life, except you don't make enough money, so she won't. Would you really want to be with that girl, even if you had the job and the car. Of course, in a healthy society, you would already have married five yea…

You get it from god. What I have understood is that love only works in one direction. You can only love someone unconditionally if you do not need anything from them. Once you do, the love is no longer unconditional, it is tied to the contract between the two. A child will never love their parents like their parents love the child. A man will "do anything" for their woman, but the woman will not return the favour, their love is dependent on if the man is worthy of respect. As a grown up adult ma…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
