9	Running out of things to talk about very soon. I have had this happen so many times. I’ve found what helps is finding a common ground or something that you’re both into and this can spark all sorts of new conversations. Otherwise, I’ve found that just asking random questions helps to spark conversation. I think the most important thing is that the conversation is coming from both parties. 2	Any good first date ideas? I read something in r/seduction once that mentioned the best date ideas are things that don’t tie you down to a location. For instance, dinner wouldn’t be a good idea because if you don’t like the person, you can’t just leave without making it awkward. 1	Unsuccessful I have done exactly this before! My first time, I felt embarrassed to be out alone. It was difficult chatting to strangers and I felt as though everyone was there in their groups and I didn’t really fit in anywhere, so I went home. My second time, I had a mentality of “unless I make the effort to mix with people, I’m going home feeling unsuccessful.” I forced myself to get out of my comfort zone (all while sober - of course a few drinks will help to make this easier) and chat to new people.
