I am/have been very similar to you, however I don't want to make this about me. Just know that I'm with you. With that being said.... Like I can't speak for you but I know I get dressed up nice, to look good for women. I go out dancing cause it's fun, sure, but if I was with a woman, I'd probably do it a lot less. Like I start to realize how deeply rooted all my behaviors are geared towards that ultimate goal of success with women and not necessarily for my own self fulfillment. You hit the nail…

Stop worrying so much about making them like you. If you be yourself, and they don't like you, you shouldn't want them anyway. I wouldn't want to be with someone who doesn't like what I'm about. That's a recipe for disaster. You'll feel much better if you just stay true to who you are, and you'll like/appreciate the women who like you for that more-so than a woman you basically duped into liking you by just telling her what you think she wants to hear. Bottom line: if she doesn't like you for yo…

I'm really kinda boring... Change that mindset. You have to convince yourself that you are awesome before you can ever hope to convince a woman that you are.

I literally had to re-program my brain to convince myself that I am awesome, and that people really do like me for the person I am. "Fake it 'til you make it" was a motto I repeated to myself often. It took some time (a few years for me, but it may be quicker for others), but that mentality has boosted my confidence 100-fold. I also read books (and /r/seddit!) about body language, and how that affects your confidence level. Just walking more upright with my head held high made a noticeable diffe…

I still get AA from time to time, but I was much like you when I first started. The only thing that will truly get you over it is by just doing it. I know that's easier said than done, but at some point you have to just tell yourself, "Self. Man the fuck up and just do it." Once you do it a couple times, you realize it's not the scary beast that your brain is making it out to be. You are going to get rejected. Even the best PA's get rejected. After feeling that "sting" a couple times, the sting …

This is brilliant. Just used it and already "gaming" with a girl on match.com. The game I chose was to give each other 3 things about ourselves, 1 of which is false, and we have to guess which one it is. We go back and forth until one of us gets 3 guesses right, and the loser has to buy a round of drinks. So far it's going quite well. On a side note, I VERY RARELY get replies on match.com, so this approach is gold!

I asked a girl out for drinks, and she replied that she had a boyfriend. I said, "That's cool, we'll probably need a designated driver." She giggled, and still turned me down, but we continued to converse for a bit. It was a fun interaction, and didn't make the rejection so awkward.

Just out of curiosity, where in NE Wisconsin? I grew up there, but live in Oklahoma now.

I stopped looking at it as being "shot down." That phrase sucks. I look at it more as "the right set of circumstances didn't happen to be there with this one". Being rejected isn't a loss, it's a win by a landslide. A.) you had the nuts to take a chance, and B.) it obviously wasn't going to work with her anyway. Don't waste energy on something that isn't going to happen, or most likely isn't going to be good even if it DOES happen. Take pride in the fact that you attempted it where many others w…

You might get some funny looks, some "I don't know's", some weird looks, etc... but when you get the ones who bite, it's a lot of fun, and loosens things up immediately. Just make sure you have an answer when she asks "What's yours?" I like to go with T-Rex because they can eat other dinosaurs, but can't tie their own shoes. That usually gets a pretty good giggle out of them, but I'm sure you could make some sort of joke about a bronto's long neck, or how horny a triceratops is. Bottom line, jus…

It doesn't really matter where you go from there, it's more about HOW you go. I literally struck up a conversation with a girl the other night about what her favorite dinosaur was to prove this point. She loved it (although I did find out she was terrified of dinosaurs. Woops!). You can talk about literally anything. Some people will be into it, and some won't. Don't sweat the ones who aren't into it, you probably don't want them anyway.

Personally, I don't try to pick up waitresses. I use them as practice, because they pretty much HAVE to talk to you. It's actually helped me when talking to other women, because I've found some things I should and shouldn't say just by practicing on waitresses.

Congrats! Some days it will be like that, and some days it won't. But in the end, you get to be yourself, and that's worth way more than what anyone else thinks of you..

Be ok with your jokes, even if they're not. That is the essence of confidence. Maybe you're not funny to them, but who cares. Fuck them. You're awesome, and they're wrong. I've had to learn this lesson. Many of my jokes get what I call "the look". It's that confused/baffled look that says, "what's wrong with this guy?" I hate that look, because fuck you, I'm just trying to make you laugh. That look used to keep me from being me. I've learned to ignore "the look" and the people who give it to me,…

I give 1 or 2 chances. If she apologizes and gives a reason for flaking, I'll give her another shot. If not, fuck her. I don't have time for inconsiderate flakes.

The approach I take is to treat her as if she doesn't have one, even after she tells me she does. In my mind, he doesn't exist either way. Really, I let the whole boyfriend thing go in one ear and out the other if it comes up. Her actions will let you know if either A.) She really does have a boyfriend, or B.) She's just not into you, and using it as an excuse/bullshit test. But you gotta be able to recognize if she's still interested or is trying to politely exit the conversation. There's a lot…

My long term goal is to find someone I can spend the rest of my life with. However, along the way, I have set - and met - some short term goals, since I pretty much had zero game when I started. Here are the goals I've set, and either met, or have yet to meet: 1.) Go out by myself - Met 2.) Talk to random people while I'm out - Met; but still not great at it 3.) Number close - Met...a lot! 4.) Go on dates - Met...sort of. Hasn't been many, and got a lot of flakes, but definitely doing better tha…

I don't know how it is for other guys, but for me I get as much enjoyment getting her off as I do getting off myself. What I mean by that is in the instances where the old boy doesn't want to cooperate, I can actually get him going by helping HER out. Going down on her, fingering her, putting my hands all over her body, etc. will get her riled up. When she starts breathing heavy and moaning, that's instant boner material for me. Again, this is just me, but next time you can't get it up, give it …

I've been having troubles with kino myself, mainly because I never know when an acceptable time to touch a woman is. This is a great way to think of it, and I will definitely put it to use!

A quick reply is ok, imo. It's multiple quick replies, basically trying to strike up a text convo that's a bad idea. Like someone said above, if you want to converse, do it on the date. If you don't get a date with her, no biggie. It seems like you're doing a good job at getting numbers, so this isn't a one-and-done thing. The fact that you're able to get numbers like that should make it easier for you to say "fuck her". One of these numbers is going to turn out to be an awesome girl. Just gotta…

Just got a number 2 nights ago (she asked me for mine). Here is how my text messages have gone since then: yesterday evening, Me: Hey there, just wanted to say it was cool meeting/hanging out with you last night. We should do it again soon. :) later yesterday, Her: Hey! Ya it was fun! We will have to do it again soon for sure Mid day today, Me: Sounds good! When might you be free again? That's it. Ball's in her court. If she gives me a day/time, game on. If she's ambiguous, or doesn't answer, fu…

It's a process man, I feel ya. I'm going through a similar situation right now, but the difference is I've finally learned what the above posts have said. You gotta be willing to say "fuck her", and not think, but KNOW she's the one missing out here. You have to believe that you're awesome, and I hope you reach that point. It's taken me about 5 years since I really started looking into this stuff, but I finally feel like they should be chasing me, not the other way around. It's a mind set you HA…

Same here...a little different path to where I'm at, but same age, and same game plan. And yes, this stuff does work! I'm totally with you on the "I wish I learned this stuff when I was younger!"

Working out makes a world of difference. My success rate hasn't really gone up...at least, not yet, but my confidence is through the roof. I feel good about myself, and how I look, and although I haven't landed anyone yet, I've definitely noticed a different attitude from the women I talk to. They can definitely sense the confidence, and I don't feel like I need to "impress" them...I'm already impressing them just by feeling confident. Feels like it's just a matter of "when" now, instead of "if"…

Just tried it out a little bit today. Not sure if it made a difference or not, but it's the first time I conciously tried it. Definitely awkward, but she didn't seem to mind at all. Maybe there's something to this whole kino thing... haha

I'm at work right now, but I will try to remember when I get home. I'll just edit this post. It's 10 parts, and I've gotten through 5 so far, I think...pretty good stuff, though.

Yeah, I watched a video about this last night. I've always figured women thought kino in general was considered creepy from a strange guy. Turns out I couldn't be more wrong if it's done right. Who knew? lol

I've been reading a lot on here about HOW to do kino, but not so much on getting over being able to do it to begin with. But I will do more searching. That's a very good tip, though. Thanks for the reply!

"Half the time a girl will resume convo." That's a really good point, and something I never consider. During that "awkward silence", it's entirely possible that she's sitting there trying to think of something to say herself. I suppose if you're to say something to her in that moment, you're kinda just bailing her out...

It amazes me how this stuff works. You're absolutely right, but it's such a foreign concept to me. I was always raised to be the guy who picks up the purse. It's taken me years to figure out that women are looking for that alpha male, despite saying they want the gentleman (although you're right, there's a time and a place...). I've literally had to try and re-program my brain the last couple years, and it's not an easy process. I'm kinda rambling now, but thank you for sharing this. It helps ce…

Don't worry about what the girls are interested in. What is important is that YOU are interested in it. In fact, the bottom line is that it doesn't matter if ANYONE else is interested in it. What it boils down to is that when you are passionate about something, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, because you are so into whatever it is, that it makes you happy. For example: I'm a musician. But I don't brag about that to women, in fact, I rarely bring it up unless it comes up in conversatio…

I used to get tired of that attitude as well, but the more women I started talking to, the more I figured out the numbers. Out of every 10 women you talk to, maybe 3 are rude, 3 blow you off, 3 are nice, and 1 is actually interested. Knowing those (approximate) numbers, I have a good idea of what to expect. "She was a bitch. That's 1 down, 2 to go." I guess what I'm saying is, it's less of a blow to the ego when you're pretty much expecting it. And when she's NOT a bitch, it's a pleasant surpris…
