i don't think dating or relationships work well unless it's 50/50, but that doesn't mean every aspect is split 50/50. it's just an overall feeling of give and take. in some ways you might give more, some ways you receive more. i'm not going to nickle and dime it to death tho. once you start feeling you're giving more than you're getting, that's probably when it's time to re-evaluate if it's worth the effort.

the only instance i can think of where virginity would matter to me is if they were saving it for religious purposes or for someone special, and now we were about to do it. i'd want to know that cuz i'm not down for commitment atm and i wouldn't want to disappoint if they were hoping/expecting for something else. however, that's on them to tell me - i'm not going to go fishing for this information. i only knew the body counts/losing virginity stories of my two serious exes cuz you just share and…

to be successful in dating you need social skills, and it stems from childhood. doesn't help when parents do not encourage their kids to be actively social - like have friends in real life and not just play Xbox and iPad. my brothers and i were constantly active when we were kids. summer and winter sports, church club, summer camp. we all had social jobs working in restaurants by the time we were 15-16 and yk - none of us ever had problems finding girlfriends. i'm not particularly extroverted ei…

not it's not government funded child support; parents are still liable to pay child support. it's a government benefit on-top of that.

okay but for clarity, the government of Sweden pays child allowance, which is different from child support. Swedish parents are still indeed liable to pay child support. from your source: The parent who does not live with the child must pay child support (underhållsbidrag) to the parent with whom the child lives. Child support when the child lives with you If you do not live together with the child’s other parent, and he or she cannot pay child support (underhållsbidrag), you can apply for maint…

no it's not. dating apps are not designed for people to be successful. just like life coaches and diet coaches don't want their clients to succeed, tinder etc need most users to fail most of the time so they keep coming back. bet the staff at tinder aim for a 15% success rate max, just enough for someone to know someone who knows someone who matchs once in a while. Do you dress well? Do you have goals in your life? Do you have high standards for yourself? Can you hold a conversation? one can har…

but you said 'almost always' talk about men. see op above. up until recently i lived in a houseshare with four attractive young women who also often had female friends over and i can vouch they weren't 'almost always' talking about men. they mostly had normal conversations. work stories, what's in the news/politics, gossip about friends/family, same shit men talk about. so i can't help but think you're stereotyping and perhaps don't hang out with enough women.

Alot of guys don’t actually find women attractive. They like cosmetics. so what tho. a lot of women don't actually find women attractive. they like cosmetics. y'all are worse, in fact, the way you tear each other down Regina George style. you know it happens - that book was written by a woman and then that film was written by a woman and was a massive success. do men like make-up? if it makes a woman look more feminine when they would normally look like a man, yeah sure. surely most women don't …

where do you live? reddit has subreds that might be able to help ( r/legaladvice or r/auslegal for instance). i would find your jurisdiction and post your question there; you won't get actual 'legal advice' but potentially someone can offer a link in the right direction. the short answer is yes tho. coercive controlling behaviour is domestic abuse and the court would consider that if you applied for an occupation order, forcing your spouse to leave the home and you stay there with the child. tha…

nahh wardrobe is the single most important controllable factor when it comes to attractiveness. takes such little effort you don't even have to leave the flat; just order something online. and bearing time for shipping, the right outfit can instantly improve your appearance - don't have to wait weeks to see an improvement. just put it on and the right outfit can hide a fat stomach or add weight to a small frame. don't even have to afford a gym membership, which can be expensive and often a strug…

women don't want you because you aren't 'self-actualized' in neoliberal sense: not having the right career, the right education, the right social life, the right fit body, the right conversation skills, the right emotional intelligence... i don't understand why one must date in order to work on any of this. you don't need to date a woman to work on conversation skills and emotional intelligence - you need friends. that's what friends are for. gym, education and career doesn't require dating; tha…

this is a very narrow group of people aged 18-23. just pointing this out cuz 'young' is sometimes misinterpreted. but yeah, this is not new information. numerous studies state young adults are having less sex because of arrested development. video games, porn and online chatrooms enable antisocial behaviour. personally lived in student accommodation for 3 years and had flatmates who never left the flat; not even for class. these are adults in their so-called 'prime' who have the opportunity to m…

Mental illness is a diminished function of the brain in some way and mentally ill people are more likely to be taken advantage of including in relationships. perhaps, but i have very much seen the opposite far more often, in that those with mental health issues take advantage of the person they are in a relationship with. they use their partner as an emotional crutch; they expect them to put up with all their abusive horseshit then blame it on their mental ilness and their depression cuz they 'c…

the woman in the video doesn't say she chose a high flying career over children. she could have been trying to have biological children for the last 10 years for all we know. my sister-in-law's first round of IVF was when she was in her mid-twenties and it didn't take. when that happened she fell into a debilitating depression and then her and my brother had to save for a few years to try again. costs $10-15k just for one round and if you're not made of money and so depressed you can barely get …

that 60% are single statistic that is regularly used for argument is defined as men who are not married, living with a partner, or in a committed relationship - not that they are not dating at all. there's no reason why a man would lie about his relationship status here - not like anyone in his life is going to see it. the reason there are more single men than women under 30 is because there is obviously more pressure for women to 'settle down' earlier than men. as red pillers point out, women a…

what do red pillers mean by 'bad boys'? like what are these lads doing that makes them bad? idk man. i know the bad boys got the girls in highschool, the lads who skipped class and drank and smoked weed outside the gym, but when you get into adulthood being bad gets increasingly difficult because you have less authority figures to rebel against and there's obviously the expectation that you're ambitious and responsible and not selling drugs. also if this is about 'low-commitment sex' as stated i…

i don't know how anyone can realistically change your view on what is your life experience unless you give us your address and we all venture out together. obviously your neighbourhood could be completely different from mine. i will say where i live my local shop is below student accommodation, across from a cinema and and there's a gym around the corner. when i go to buy groceries i mostly see mid-large sized groups of young people aged 15-21 and singles and families. i don't see many couples a…

Let's imagine the relationship lasts 4 years, and then she gets a better man or a higher salary herself. Of course, it can be sad for the man, but there is not shortage of economically disadvantaged younger women to date for men who earn more, and on average men choose careers that pay more. just hard to imagine the above scenario happening in real life. i hang out with working professionals - engineers, bankers, healthcare workers - and i'm in law school so surrounded by people who don't have m…

men and women use each other for their bodies in short term situations, ie one night stands and fuckbuddies. money is not an issue here because person is gone the next day. meanwhile, men do not use women for their bodies in long term relationships. looks are a bonus indeed, but no man is going to commit to a woman who can't benefit him financially. might not be her direct finances, but rather sacrificing her time so he can make the finances. see? it's all about money.

Men who travel for dating, romance, LTRs or just NSA sex can generally be categorized into four different groups: Expats. These are men from the United States who move to a foreign country, marry a woman from that country and live there as husband and wife. no, they can't. and no one here is complaining about expats. expats are by far and large those who move overseas for work - they don't move overseas for pussy. when i moved to Australia i was an expat and knew dozens of them, maybe 50. men care way more about their muscles than women do. least most lads i know do not lift weights and still manage to take home good-looking chicks. women fancy fake-ass orange tans, caterpillar eyelashes, long-ass ugly nails, hair extensions. at least most of the women under 30 around my neighbourhood do and it looks hideous. i guess that's not indifferent tho.

Why do men wait til they’re 30, 40, 50 to suddenly pikachu face and realize they want to settle down with an early 20s woman? i don't think it's the fact they are waiting. i think in most cases they are involuntarily celibate and then hoping they can relive their youth with a 20 year old.

The ability to revoke consent is something Important to me and I hope it's important to everyone else. i recommend looking into revocation and contract law before throwing legal words around. most importantly, you and your partner cannot contact another party into your legal agreement - that being the fetus soon child to be born. how would you like to be a party to your parents' mortgage without signing the agreement? you'd likely sue them if they forged your name.

Let's face it. Modern women will sound like right wing Republicans when giving men advice in lieu of our dating woes. They'll tell us to suck it up, pull up our bootstraps, work harder, stop complaining, stop acting entitled to women, fix our personality, life isn't fair, etc. And I'm actually perfectly fine with this stoic advice for men believe it or not. But then they'll turn around go completely soft on fellow women in lieu of their dating woes. what's wrong with right-wing republican women?…

l. If you have an ugly face, you can't put on makeup to enhance it (i know women usually say something like this when someone brings it up, that men can also wear makeup. No woman would ever date a man with makeup on). i suggested this as a thread in unpopular opinion once a while back, that the stigma on heterosexual men wearing makeup needs to end, but it was rejected saying it was a 'popular opinion'. that's the biggest bullshit i ever heard. going that far against the gender norms would frea…

what the hell is this. from the article: Before Judge Altham began his sentencing remarks, the defence read a letter from Williams in which she said she knew she had "done wrong over some of this" and was "sorry" but added she did not accept she was guilty. what did she think was going on here. ffs this isn't fun and games - three men she accused tried to commit suicide from this hell. this woman should never see the light of day, 8 1/2 year sentence is taking the piss.

it's worse when women do it because they want their cake and eat it -- your paycheck and the other man's cock. well sorry i was busy feeding your ass, that's not 'love'.

is it that red pill men want to be used for their money; it's just that they can't get used in the west because they don't have enough compared to other men and women?

many women also are attracted to and stay with wife beaters on low incomes. i have many in my close family, proving it doesnt take good looks or money for some young women to forgive scumbag abusive behaviour, just offer a roof over their head and the ability to not work for themselves.

correlation =/= causation. the good-looking men were likely better in bed having more experience.

no, the current dating situation is that men think women are sexually liberated and so have these expectations that they should get laid by them, but that's not the case. women are selective because society still shames them for having 'high body counts' and tells them they must have romantic feelings in order to have sex and that the ultimate goal is marriage. if they weren't taught those things, they would have sex like men and just fuck anything; that would benefit men who struggle to get lai…

My understanding is that whilst women appreciate a good-looking man, their orgasms do not derive from it so no, sex won't be a disagreement based off looks alone. If they do miss that good-looking fwb it's because it made her feel special to be wanted by a good-looking man, just as it would make a man feel special to be wanted by a good-looking woman. Bit of an ego boost is all.

Similar for short man ; are woman not attracted to short man intimidated by them ? Are woman intimidated by short man ? can't be intimidated by someone smaller than you. The thing is tall woman are considered masculine ; men are not attracted to masculinity yeah because their masculinity threats their own - that's why they don't like it. men need to be the masculine one in the relationship; they don't want her competiting for that title.

"It doesn't take much to be in the top 5% of men. Dress well. Smell good. Lift weights. Don't be a pussy. Have a meaningful purpose." LMFAO no!! unless he thinks 95% of men are just pieces of crap. holy shit, that's all it takes to me in the top 5%?? smell nice?? EDIT: The top 5% seems too narrow. What if it said top 25%? no you're looking at this the wrong way; all that stuff won't even get you a job interview. you need to be able to talk to people, do something with your life to put on your CV…

well evidently these women are used to hanging out with money. things become less impressive when everyone you know has it. maybe start hanging out with pretty girls from a lower class; they do exist. didn't Britney Spears come from a trailer park or something?

Almost things women want to prevent or avoid is mostly about avoiding responsibility: avoiding responsibility because she knows full well the one who impregnated her won't take responsibility. cuz she knows he's going to ditch, she has to make a tough decision. there's never going to be a 50/50 power when it comes to pregnancy, man. you want power and control then wear a condom and don't have sex with pro-choice women or have a vasectomy. fact is once that child is born the child is a person and…

This makes society believe women should be able to cock carousel and only settle for top % of males or they will eventually regret it What is this cock carousel? The character in the netflix film is a fucking suburban housewife. The top % of males aren't bad boys. Sure, some of them are up there like Mark Zuckerberg, Chris Brown, Donald Trump, Charlie Sheen. All got money, criminal accusations, hookers and class A drugs - but that's the minority of the top %. The rest of the top % have money, re…

child custody prison reform and rehabilitation sexual and physical abuse isolatation/loneliness second one is rarely talked about outside the system, which is disgusting since everyone on the inside knows it doesn't work. it just creates career criminals then leaves them on the street, can't get a job or proper housing, have no friends or connections so go on to reoffend. who cares about these men is what i want to know.

did the GP give you prescription for the meds or were you supposed to get that from the psychiatrist? ok, you don't want to talk to the psych about suicidal thoughts. who else are you talking to about this? do you need to take time off work for your own safety?
