What if this guy is just playing the long con? He plays the subservient house husband while his wife openly goes out and bangs whatever she wants. She clearly makes bank if they have multiple kids and he doesn't work. When she tries to let go to swing to that higher branch, she gets slammed by his years of evidence of being a loving husband and responsible father. Makes out like a fucking bandit in court.

The problem is that most people do give a shit what actors and other famous people think. They don't want to put effort into researching and learning things to make an intelligent, well thought contribution to conversations, so they repeat what that guy they like from the tv says.

I think I saw a quote here that mothers always hate their daughter-in-law because they know what women are really like.

Well what kind of number would you have if pretty much every girl you came into contact with from the time you were 16 wanted to bang you?

Then you put a bunch of sixes inside the average door, and a sign pointing to the loading dock around back for the rest

Whenever this happens I just put a positive spin on it. I let myself realize that this isn't one of those things I'm doing for future me, it's just what me right now needs. Relaxing is good for getting yourself motivated and back on track. You miss that high from working out and getting shit done.

Start by cleaning up that garage. Don't worry about the projects you have to keep moving and stepping over. Just work on getting it cleaned up/organized so when that urge to start wrenching again hits, you can actually do some work instead of walking out and getting overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that needs to be dealt with

Is it possible this could prevent girls having their "daddy issues", and creating sluts from seemingly normal families? Like this comes from girls feeling neglected by their father, but maybe it is because they have a mom who is unappreciative of said father and they don't realize what the man is actually doing for them

Nah it's always good to look at both sides. I'm not great at putting these abstract concepts into words, but I can try. I don't think you will look at anything as a shithole when you see how little people have in some parts of the world. When you're exposed to the idea that people can be happy with next to nothing, it might help you to realize what is actually important to you in your own life. You would probably come back to realize how cluttered life is with bullshit and formalities here. The …

The point is to not come back to a mundane life. Or maybe you wont see doing what you're doing as mundane when you see people living as they do in a foreign country. The whole point is that you will change who you are as a person, or at least your outlook on things. You go hoping to find something that your life is missing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
