Allegedly? It’s right there in text, he made the argument. And he’s objectively correct, there are the numbers right there. Are you so insular you’re just going to ignore those numbers? Do you think autistic people don’t matter?

Yes, but it’s incomplete Men don’t care about men’s issues, and women don’t care about men’s issues Only a handful of men and women considered weirdos care about men’s issues, even though they’re literally correct

Because men are wired to compete with other men. They don’t have a strong gendered in-group preference because it wasn’t evolutionarily adapted. Instead, they adapted to take a wife, and fight against another guy. This worked when the wife supported the husband. Now the wife is playing her own game, the man is still playing the old game, and this causes suffering. But if the guy stopped playing the old game, women and children would suffer as a result, and he’s wired to not do that biologically …

The standard female response is that all of men’s problems are caused by men and then they go on with their day. Because for some reason, everything needs to be an intentional evil committed by a villain group against a victim group, even though the world is actually a lot more complicated than that. Also, no, it need not be the case that men are somehow dumb or at fault for working the dangerous jobs. The jobs need to get done and the men who take these jobs almost always have wives and childre…

Yeah that’s a stat from America I always find this response interesting, this idea that a human born anywhere is sort of equivalent for the question of depopulation You realize it’s actually a huge problem if Europe and America are depopulating but Africa is overpopulating, right? It’s not equivalent to say, oh well it’ll balance out because for every kid not born in America, one is born in Africa. For a variety of reasons it’s not a cause to dismiss the issue as not an issue, mainly because if …

Feminists have presented themselves as the opponent at literally every organized attempt to discuss men’s rights issues. I mean they physically showed up and picketed, angry phone calls, attempts to cancel events, even bomb threats get called in. Feminists HATE the idea of men’s rights getting any kind of attention, because men are the villains of the feminist narrative, which builds itself on a narrative of an oppressor class and an oppressed class. There is no room for considering men’s rights…

You can’t persuade people who don’t want to be persuaded. There’s a whole book of MRA statistics that literally involve men dying in huge numbers due to the burdens put on them and the lack of mental health resources, the fact that male callers at abuse hotlines are redirected to abuser hotlines (no I am not joking), that the idea of a man being raped by a woman didn’t exist as a legal category until like 15 years ago, men get turned away from battered shelters, men are homeless at way higher ra…

Men were never given rights, our legal rights always came with corresponding requirements related to military services and a bunch of soft requirements in terms of our role in society, if you’re on a sinking ship and there are not enough life boats, time to die buddy, sorry The only people who were given rights and no legal requirements to go along with it were women

The biggest issue is the divorce rates destroyed all sense of trust This is worse in a system where you grind your ass off for decades to build your castle and a divorce court can take it away from you in a day and there’s nothing you could do to completely prevent it if you chose to get married In said situation a guy is just not going to get married, and he’s going to read up on his local common law marriage laws before letting a girl move in

“Women don’t want men that earn more” It is insane that people still have the gall to say this in 2026 Go ask 10 men on the street how much they want their ideal partner to make Now go ask 10 women. Stop straight up lying to people. A lot of the gender war is because women overtly and blatantly lie to men about what they want. How is anything supposed to go smoothly if you’re actively misleading us If you think it makes you look bad to say what you want, consider getting your shit together until…

I don’t think men are actually better at logical thinking naturally, I think it’s their default way of thinking, their first choice for most men. Women are perfectly capable of being logical, when they want to be, but I don’t think, for most of them, it is their first choice to handle a predicament, and in situations where it is because the thing demands it (solving a math problem) you don’t see big gender gaps in capability here. But you do see a huge gender gap in men vs women choosing to stud…

“one side treats their desire as effort, while the other is expected to constantly prove themselves through actions.” Women invented the phrase “I am the table”. And of the remaining social traditions from chivalry, all of the remaining ones are requirements on men: hold the door, give up the seat on the bus, go down with the titanic, fight the home invader, sign up for the draft, fight the war, be the police, be the plumber, do the dirty and dangerous jobs, and, quietly, it would be nice if you…

Idk, I think we actually err on the side of giving up over the smallest thing Only about half of millennials are projected to get married Fewer than half of Gen Z will achieve the same This is not even married with kids, or married and never divorced, or married with kids and never divorced, this is just married We are on track to basically go extinct because we cannot get along to save our own lives. We are entirely too picky with the opposite sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 12:52 AM

This tracks completely, but I don’t think it’s mutually exclusive with what I said. I think they’re both true at the same time. Men can be both less emotional overall and also more guarded about sharing their emotions. In fact I would expect those two things to move together. Similarly, I could be in a bubble, but I’m more likely to be in a bubble like that if more bubbles like that exist. More bubbles like that would exist if it’s also generally the case.

It’s actually the conclusion most human civilizations have reached for almost all of human history Gaslighting me that I’m the first person to think this is insane. Your particular combination of beliefs about the world probably didn’t even exist until 15 years ago, where did all of that came from, did you make it up? My case is the base case, in fact you know it is, that’s why you think we live in a patriarchy, because in part that this view is so common. It’s so common and persistent because i…

Don’t we also need a logistical supply chain? Why would we want that to fall apart, you realize whenever that happens like 10-20% of the population dies before things destabilize? Usually the elderly, children, and the weak die at higher rates Basically if the elites want people to get married and have children, that’s like the most milquetoast thing they want, because it’s just a normal thing to want. It’s not sinister at all, even if they want people to be born so they can tax them, it’s still…

Maybe it’s the kind of thing that women wear on their sleeve and men hide? I could totally buy this happening a lot with a guy who trusts you enough to be kinda weak like this. I don’t see this behavior from other men often, as a man. I do see it often from women whether I’m close with them or not. Frankly I see it more from women I’m not close with, and less from men I’m not close with

I don’t know, because it’s not just in relationships that I notice the discrepancy, it’s in everything, work relationships, friendships. Guys just don’t do this whole “emotional intent translation layer” thing that many many women subconsciously are doing To the extent that if a guy does this, I actually start to worry if he’s ok. I’ve met a few guys who do this, and they just seemed unstable to me. So many women do it that rather than think that all of these women are unstable and broken in som…

Yeah but the rates are different enough that it’s a valid observation to say that yeah men do this too but most women seem to natively operate like this, whereas it’s comparatively unusual for a guy to usually be in this emotional processing mental space
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 09:26 PM

They respond to you saying direct communication is better by saying that is too much emotional work? That almost implies that it is an emotional process for them to re-translate what you said back from what they felt into what you said again. Wild. Like they’re autotranslating what you said into some other thing and then retranslating you back into what you actually is hard for them?

The wording differences in these studies are so interesting to me in that they somehow paint totally different pictures Women self report being less happy than men But they also self report having greater life satisfaction What in the hell is going on there? 😆

Are you one of those people who thinks that something can’t happen until it happens? I know it’s never happened before. It’s still happening. It’s not debatable that it’s happening, we have data on fertility rates. We know the maximum number of 20 year olds that will exist in 19 years: they’ve all already been born. We can project from that knowledge, and that’s a best case scenario projection because not all of those 1 year olds are going to make it to 20
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:57 PM

Not upheaval, collapse. Overpopulation is heavily leaning towards Asia and Africa but the nations with the worst replacement rates, ex Korea which has the worst in the world, are in Europe. Europe is not overpopulated at all, Africa and China are, but Africa’s population is the one that has continued to explode In other words there’s an asymmetry here that is a problem. The people groups that built and maintain the world’s infrastructure and global trade network are the ones about to disappear. …

You’re all over the place, you’re contradicting yourself repeatedly. Make up your mind, are the elites trying to breed us or replace us with robots, do they benefit from us outnumbering them or is it an existential threat we can use? You keep saying thing and then opposite of thing
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:39 PM

The rich have a lower fertility rate than both the middle class and the poor You should try not to develop a worldview in isolation from actual data. Your view was historically true but is not true in post industrial and even industrial societies. It’s really only true of an agrarian/warrior elite

Vetting increases quality but it also increases difficulty of the ensuing relationship in some ways. A good man is hard to keep and is less likely to be super accommodating in a relationship, for the same reasons a good woman is hard to snag
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:00 PM

Not going to die out, but definitely going to plunge into a millennium long dark age It’s all the advanced industrial countries that are below replacement rate. When they can’t keep their systems stable anymore, global trade falls apart, which causes a mass die off globally and a technological regression. Massive population movements, resource wars, you name it. Humanity will still exist but it’ll be Roman Empire collapse 2 electric boogaloo There are really only two ways out of that scenario, d…

Probably easier to find a woman who wants to be in a relationship (with you, a woman) than a man, mainly because the men are tired, and women tend to like serious relationships a bit more these days. But easier to actually be in a relationship with? Probably the man. Lower maintenance.

This is tautologically true but also meaningless. Patterns exist everywhere, you can learn from the patterns. It’s true in the sense of how you should treat people when you interact with them on the street as individuals. It’s a conversation-ending cliche when you’re on a forum whose whole point is to discuss trends and groups of people

At the very top: men have it easier, then women At the very bottom: men have it easier, then women Everywhere in between: women have it easier, then men So, most men have harder lives than most women, but at the extremes of the bottom and top 10% or so, men have it easier, by a lot, I think.

I can easily use the same reduction and argue that feminism started as a movement of women who wanted to be men, turned into a movement of women bitter at men, and eventually merged into being both at the same time. It’s a similarly dismissive and reductionist view to thinking TRP is about getting laid when they were also the first people to highlight things like the fertility crisis and the structural risk to civilization that arise from that. In the same way that perhaps a group of bitter wome…

I don’t think this is any different than what happened to feminists. They’re essentially locked in a feedback loop with each other that is dragging normal men and women trying to get along with each other, down with them. Hence my collective swimming pool analogy It’s sort of like how fascism and communism coevolved with each other and gave each other the casus belli to develop their own worst instincts. I disagree, both women and PUAs seem to give a nod to female intuition which seems the equivalent of male logic for producing good insights. And male instinct is as likely to make you a slave to your dick as to be logical and I’ve never seen these guys begrudge that point? Even if they talk about gender and IQ they say that males tend towards either end and women tend more towards the center? That’s admitting that most idiots are men. Makes sense, although this definitely has been a thing since before the internet, the internet accelerated it, and I think this subculturization also is responsible for creating the internet So it’s a self perpetuating engine that creates offshoot engines that further accelerate the process So what happens to us when what happened with the internet happens with AI? Yeah I gotcha, I just wanted to clarify that that claim was one about puberty. The things boys experience when they become men, chemically, are puberty-induced. How the choose to act in response to those feelings is about the choices they make and how they react to their experiences with women, but the internal change itself is dramatic and is independent of culture. So yes, puberty wouldn’t justify feelings of hatred, but equally, the internal conflict these teen boys feel is not from culture, …

I think the society is starting to bifurcate into more extreme clusters, like two tail distributions Look at random street footage from, say, the 60s: most people look kinda samish, average builds and appearance are very common. The obesity crisis and its accompanying hormonal crisis is causing probably the biggest chunk of our problems. Grrr me woman me angyyy You would never fuck a guy like that in a million years. The very idea is laughable. Men do not get sexual experience by being “chill and pleasant”, they become honorary girlfriends by doing that. Don’t tell men to occupy the same space in your mind that you put gay friends, lying to them and telling them that going all in on good boy points is going to get them laid/a wife It’s not. The truth is, for men who want success with women, they need both good guy points AND bad…

I don’t know that it’s linear like that If you mapped the importance of looks and game on a graph it would probably look something like “a little of both goes farther than a lot of one and zero of the other” There’s definitely gonna be diminishing returns. Like a 9/10 with some game is gonna do better than a socially moronic 10/10, looks wise
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 06:32 PM

You’re way too concerned with perception and not enough concerned about whether it is true or not Obviously don’t say it unless you’re trying to sell some shitty PUA course But is it true that you’d probably get better results? If you’re any amount of attractive, yeah, probably, be a little mysterious and a likable kind of prick, it’ll probably work better than being too nice. If you’re not attractive? You will remain unattractive, but now you’re also being dickish for no reason
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 06:29 PM

They don’t mean to do this, by the way. I think it’s something sort of like wishful thinking, like “I wish this was how I worked so I will assert that this is how I work”, or maybe that even is too conscious compared to what’s really happening. Perhaps this kind of advice is a reflection of her conscious mind but her heart is not really in agreement She finds these things likable in a guy and therefore concludes that they make her fall in love with a guy but those are not the same thing
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 06:26 PM

It’s a meme and you don’t understand meme references because you are a woman It’s still dumb to infer a perspective from someone when you literally just said you don’t understand what I’m saying. There’s no making that not dumb. Maybe ask or google or something, evaluate the reference in context once you know what it means, and then you have the necessary information to figure out what my perspective is and thus whether it is strange.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 05:01 PM

It was an analogy to your attempt at “ungendering” something with your words, perhaps I was asking too much inference from you by making an analogy, my apologies. From what I’ve seen, it’s gendered. That doesn’t mean men don’t do it, it means women do it more often than men. And of course they do. It’s practically coded in sexual dimorphism across the entire animal kingdom, and it’s written all over human history.

Nothing in the world can prepare a girl to turn 18 in this shithole society and nothing in the world can prepare a man to endure the constant brutality of his mid to late 20s. We’re all stuck in the suck in different ways
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 04:55 PM

Was she like that? What were her romantic relationships like? Btw you can’t ungender something that is inherently, patternistically, gendered. I know leftists believe in words of power and affirmation and all this hoo hah horseshit but you can’t actually speak reality into existence. You can’t call it ungendered and make it so, if it is done by women more often than by men, it’s a gendered behavior, and vice versa, and the degree to which it is slightly or very gendered is the degree to which on…

Because there aren’t different moral standards for men and women If a man strings along a bunch of girls he keeps around for sex, it’s a harem. If a woman strings along a bunch of guys for sex, it’s a harem. If you’re asking why neither is healthy, it’s because neither of them is contributing to anyone’s growth as a person. Most if not all of the people involved are just going to end up hurt. These behaviors are inherently one person putting their needs above everyone else involved. Even in situ…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 04:35 PM

It’s so funny how things change as we age. I’m 30 and my primary grouchiness comes from the feeling that people are tryin to take advantage of me. Old guys just want someone to need them for something and are happy with that I was like that too when I was younger, but I got taken advantage of too many times in a row.

I think either you did date these men or you’re inferring their motivations without actually ever getting close enough to them to see beyond the tough exterior men put out. Or you’re drawing your view of men almost entirely from random dudes on the internet? Which is only going to tell you, definitively, about terminally online men’s behavior. Which is really fucking bad, and so is term…

Yes, if you were romantically involved with several men simultaneously, you essentially had a harem of men Infidelity implies some assurance of exclusivity was given, this is implicit when you have a spouse or a boyfriend/girlfriend (which is essentially a marriage free trial) that’s not usually how these things go. The topic is often avoided with bullshit lines like “I don’t know what my life’s gonna be like in 3 weeks ya know?” I also don’t see evidence for the argument that the women are just…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 09:27 AM

It turned negative because the truth is that men and women need each other, when they withdraw from each other they hurt themselves, they recognize they are in pain, they attribute the pain to the thing about the other gender that made them pull back, this turns into resentment. This happens with man haters as well, they often start with withdrawing from men due to bad experiences or valid criticisms, but the isolation itself turns the views sour.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 09:21 AM

He’s also giving up his time and he’s paying for both lattes. Your entire frame only makes sense if you either don’t see the man as human to the same degree you are, or you feel some sense of entitlement, like you’re doing him a favor by being there. Understandably this is repulsive to men, especially if you’re capable of paying for your own
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 09:19 AM

That’s just you reflecting how spoiled you are by it that you don’t consider a $5 free coffee to be anything at all I would be thrilled if someone bought me a free coffee, because of how unusual it would be

Considering that a therapist just prescribes pills that are proven in studies to not even work, or, just listens to you complain and then psychoanalyses you (any girlfriend worth her salt can do this and many do), having your girlfriend be your therapist is just saving $140/hr The only reason we disrespect this is because we rightly identify it as a skill issue. A man should be able to complain and then diagnose himself inside of his own head. Then he doesn’t have to pay an old fat lady to do it…

Speaking from experience, you know what gets men more unwilling to come forward, more than anything else? It’s not internalized expectations or whatever, most of us can get outside of our own heads enough to get past that, especially now. It’s two things When we call the police, we get arrested. When we call an abuse hotline, they reroute us to an abuser hotline. We don’t want the people we love to get arrested, even when they hurt us

/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 08:03 AM

Depends on what is meant by lowering standards. Never lower moral standards, do not sleep with evil women just because they’re the only ones you could get. Better to be alone in that case. If you mean stop shooting for women more beautiful than you, yeah that’s probably good advice
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 08:01 AM

Well, keep in mind the sequence of events that happen to a person can very much color how they respond to it For all you know, that guy who comes at you roidraging about women could’ve gone with his problems to 5 or 6 women he trusted and been mocked by them, or blamed for his problems with bootstraps logic Women do have a tendency of always assigning agency to the man, it’s very common for women to basically come up with increasingly more niche ways to say that it’s ultimately his fault that so…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 07:44 AM

Truth nuke My married friends constantly joke that they got the last plane out of Saigon
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 07:38 AM

No, i don’t think you understand the dynamic of these things at all. These are not married men usually, or men cheating on their girlfriends, these are men serially doing situationships with several women And they couldn’t do it if the women didn’t do it with them, you can try to blame men if you want but the women are just as involved in this culture, obviously. In fact, more women are involved in it, than men.

I’m guessing you’re retarded and also an asshole. Why pick a fight with some stranger? You can’t possibly have enough information about me through Reddit to conclude such things, so it’s just stupid and also rude. I don’t think you know what the mouse utopia experiment showed, if you’re juxtaposing it with “violence” It was very violent, and also very metrosexual, and also very incelish All at the same time. Is this one of those moments where women pretend to be prudes as pure as the driven snow when we all know they’re more perverted than they’ve ever been before? My point about the fact that dating is so messed up that many guys are checking out was pretty independent of the whole no overt sexuality thing btw, for example, we had similar rules about not being overtly sexual in dating before, during the whole Victorian romantic courtship era. But there was still a clear outlet and clear rules. Guys…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 06:42 AM

No, of course not, I’m not vulgar. Mostly I just don’t express interest anymore. Y’all made this shit way too difficult. We need some reasonable dating meta to re-establish itself. Most of my peers are more or less checked out
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 10:49 PM

I agree, they devalue themselves by doing this. But very attractive women are very much participating in this. I think they may not realize they’re effectively in a harem, because it’s presented behind a nice, clean app interface

Well he’s still very Orthodox, several years later. He also went to the holiest site in America for Orthodox Christianity, and met an elder considered to be a walking saint, picked a fight with him, realized he was wrong and converted through his interactions with him So this doesn’t read at all to me like a public statement, it reads like an actual conversion

How does a man indicate interest without saying anything sexual? The other ways are likely to get you accused of being patriarchal or something (offering to pay the bill etc), or put in nice guy zone (lots of interest in her personality or hobbies etc) Speaking as a man things seem to be quite ambiguous. I’m not gonna own “men don’t know how to read the room” until women own that they don’t know how to stage the room either lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 06:42 PM

Yes just perfectly read every woman’s body language before even getting a chance to talk to her, to get any information that might help you interpret body language. Also be a billionaire vampire philanthropist with a six pack.

Something that instigates eye contact. For example there was the old drop the handkerchief routine. Modern equivalent would be something like dropping your wallet maybe? See if they pick it up and hand it back to you, they’ll make eye contact. Builds a little intimacy cheaply. Then talk to them :)
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 12:56 AM

Pedophilia is definitely still worse because the person involved is still in developmental stages, thus harm done to them has extremely high leverage over their development. In other words, hurting a child hurts them more than hurting an adult, this is obvious

/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 12:36 AM

You are fishing for karma and getting off on your ability to compel people’s speech and shame them for things they didn’t do. There’s probably not a single person on this sub that even knows someone in the small town in Nigeria where this is happening
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 12:32 AM

Right but it’s obviously more dangerous to go to a near stranger’s house for sex than it is to have a drink with a guy in a public place with witnesses It’s weird that this is happening at the same time, more women ok with the riskier thing, less with the not as risky thing, while thinking it’s too risky? That doesn’t seem weird to you at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/26 10:09 PM

I don’t think that’s it. They’re not engaging in less risky behavior with men, on the contrary far more just silo’d into apps
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/26 10:01 PM

Yet are totally fine randomly going to a man’s house to fuck him after 4 text messages Yeah makes total sense that it’s a general environment of fear of men and not some weird schizo thing around technology hijacking our better sense

The countries you’re talking about are Arab world/muslim legal system mostly, and in those countries, men are not considered victims. It’s “the patriarchy” you guys believe in until pointed to that region of the world. If men are seen and treated as the dominant class, they’re not also seen as victims.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 05:11 PM
5

That’s not as common as males not being counted as victims when a dispute between a man and a woman arises, because even in systems where women are not considered legally credible, men are still not considered as potential victims
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 05:00 PM

They’re way more likely to cheat, that’s the problem
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 09:52 AM

Hard to take that seriously when the people most likely to laugh at men and women who point out how men can be abused, are people with that same label Feminists have nobody to blame but themselves for their own bad PR, they dislike men so much that they cannot contain it for the sake of their own persuasive self- definition
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 09:41 AM

Not globally. Made to penetrate is a very recent legal category even in the west. It probably does not exist in most countries Did you read the original post? I was assuming we all had read that. She cited a GLOBAL statistic. Is the US the entire world? No.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 09:38 AM
22

If you read this thread and understand its implications, you should find that statistic extremely dubious If the law didn’t define, for example, a female on male rape as legally known category of thing, then it is not going to appear in that statistic. Ditto for every other type of female on male crime.

No, it's actually quite rooted in history and evolutionary psychology. Do you think the outlawing of polygamy in almost every society in history was just to be mean? It's incredibly obvious how males react to having no reproductive prospects. They kill chad or die trying, or they fall into idleness and self-harm. It's visible in most species of animal on the planet, including man.

You need to learn how these stats actually work. As someone else mentioned, it includes all men ages 18-24. There's no detail as to how it is distributed in each age subgroup (18 yo, 19yo, 20, etc). So for all we know, most of the 18-19 year olds could have had no sex with a bunch of them having sex from 20-24. Wow someone who understands statistics. It is not more traumatic. One person has a child they don't want. The other person has their child murdered and then is told they are mentally ill for not liking it. They can use about 100 different varieties of contraception. Nobody is forcing anyone to grow anything. We are not talking about forced impregnation here and most abortions are abortions of convenience, it's just not "the right time" etc. Killing something that the father views as his child and then telling him he is mentally ill for not liking it is attrocious. I cannot think of a more evil thing to do to a person.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/19 01:51 PM

Forcing someone to not kill your child is pretty light on the lists of things that you can 'force' People are forced to do things they don't want to based on the opinions of others, all the time. What do you think law fundamentally is? The difference here is you are killing their child and then telling them they are mentally ill for not wanting that. I think there's a huge difference between someone who was a 'porn star' and someone who did a porno that one time because they really needed the money.

My brother is an executive in the porn industry who got his start working the camera. He networked extensively to become an executive and thus spent a loooot of his time socializing with actresses, directors, company people, the whole thing. He told me you'd be hard pressed to find a porn actress in California (where a lot of it is shot) that isn't on some kind of drug, habitually, opioids in particular. The physical and emotional demands of the job are so intense that it's ubiquitous, according…

Happiness by age https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/08/youll-probably-have-a-midlife-happiness-crisis-heres-why (I originally found the claim in a book about behavioral economics but here's the same chart basically) Average Age of a Married Census Couple would be a bit difficult to find since most google results are "average age of first marriage" which isn't the same thing, I'm talking about the average age of a couple that would be measured in the "are you married" statistic. I could put some…

Not really, but it's a nuance type of thing. Being nothing but nice will absolutely kill your chances. Never being nice will absolutely kill your chances. It seems like women want a mix of both, according to their sense of what's reasonable given the context. I think what women really hate is boredom.

Cheating, depression and mental illness, higher divorce rates.. it's kind of a mess. Whether that's a fault with high n count behavior or with marriage or just an incompatibility between stable total monogamy and the high n count type, that's a matter of interpretation. Personally I think the faults with low n count + marriage as the societal norm are less than the alternatives, but that's my take.

There's still a rational fear to be had in this scenario. If nearly everyone goes high n count, then you're now a minority, with everything negative that comes with that. Your prospects are diminished. Culture is, in a sense, a tug of war.

Maybe because we are well aware that society and culture doesn't end at the doors and windows of our home. A way of life you love can be destroyed if you do everything you like, but everyone else turns against that way of life. It's human nature to eventually marginalize what isn't relatable to you, so we care about the behavior of others because we know that if things go too far down the road we cannot follow, eventually, it will end up affecting our life. It's hard to live a normal life in a s…

Several things. Fertility and mindset. Fertility is self-explanatory. For mindset, when you are the type that wants to settle down early, you don't typically get that feeling that you 'compromised' by settling down. The settling down is what you wanted. That's very attractive to red pilled men, any nonhypocritical red pilled man is doing and thinking the same thing, unless they can't find someone like them, or they're MGTOW, and many MGTOW were trad types who became disgusted and alienated by …

Boredom and anxiety, an unusual combination that is quite modern apparently.

Frankly, it's manifest observable reality. The best cultural takes are backed both by statistics and by a very large number of 'personal experiences' from all kinds of different social and economic strata. Shows that the statistic is not just a sampling anomaly.

Self-sacrifice and male disposability has been a thing since humanity has existed. We wouldn't have survived the stone ages as a species without that. It's not a cultural thing, culture adapted around it, along with other instincts like the urge to reproduce, the ability to use language to improve social cooperation, etc.

How is not liking abortion a mental illness? If my wife wants an abortion and I don't and I'm 50% of the picture as the father, that's domineering masculinity if I say "Don't abort my son/daughter"?

That is pretty one-sided and loaded.

Masculinity does not necessarily have toxic qualities, unless you're a perfectionist, in which case, femininity also has toxic qualities.

They'd be viewed with suspicion the same way someone who says "water is wet" is viewed with suspicion. Things that are part of the cultural fabric/basic understandings of a time, don't need to be pontificated. Unless your image of traditional masculinity is a biker bro. I really think you should define your terms or people are just going to be talking past each other.

A very recent phenomenon (literally this year's stats), one that signifies a reversal from historic trends. I think it's safe to assume this is cultural and economic contamination of the data. Also, age, since most men and women who fit the 'never married' stat on the census are people who are above 18 but haven't married yet because of age reasons, yet people are happiest in that age group second only to retirees, whilst most in the married stat are about a decade older and in the low point of …

If that's the definition you're using, then men don't need women except 'at will' either. It's a silly definition to use though, because then we don't 'need' almost anything. That doesn't change the fact that we feel like we need a lot more than we technically biologically do. People make decisions based on what they want, what they think will benefit them. Not what they think they need. Who wants to only have the things they need?

I'd rather have an unprepared mother who learns 'on the job' than have a birth defect for the rest of my life. Nobody ever feels perfectly ready to have kids. It's something you figure out together. Honestly, I think the biggest reason people are waiting is financial. Very few people think it's 'good' to wait, biologically. We all feel ourselves slowly start to deteriorate starting in the mid to late 20s. Hell, we start deteriorating at 20.

I'd say 2 days to a week, maybe faster in certain situations. It's not something I've ever done, but I'm confident I could if I wanted to.

Probably because they know where the girl lives and they see the girl regularly. One of those "When you have a swimming pool in your backyard, your chances of drowning in a swimming pool increase by x%" kinds of statistics.

I think that may be a bit of a jump backwards too far, social-structure wise, to draw conclusions lol. But since you went there, I'll bite. Do you have any idea how sex-starved a guy who has been on a tiny boat for 2 months with a bunch of other sweaty smelly dudes is, compared to some farmer who is married and has sex regularly? That may be part of the reason why the Vikings are so well known even compared to other soldiers at the time for raping. It's really not shocking that for so long (and …

What do you mean when you use the term "need"? Never married men and women have lower self-reported happiness. So it seems like marriage does actually affect happiness, for both men and women. "Need" is a strong term, but I think that aforementioned fact makes it questionable to claim that people are just as well off in terms of their happiness being alone.
