1	How do you maintain interest if the date isn't for a while? If you have enough game to close IRL, it won’t matter if your not as funny in person. The point is to close. Being fun & funny opens the door to give you a chance to close. That’s all you really need. I’ve closed plenty doing so so anyone else should be able to do so too.
