4	Help me make my mind up Hello mate. Polish senior engineer living in the west here. I would say get your masters degree and early work experience in more developed place then Poland, take a gap year or two if you want to get comfortable and save money first. It really doesn't matter, and you will be more mature when choosing master degree. If you will sacrifice your early 20s for good work you will speed up your career, the money and status change will be significant in a few years.
