Here are some ways i have prepared for tests/studied. 1) simply read everything one time through. 2) rewrite different texts into an abbreviated form. For instance take a 25 page chapter and reduce it to only key words. Try to make the 25 pages into less than 5. Less pages the better. Use this as your study guide. No need to reread the original text. 3) Think like a person making a test. Reread the text and highlight what things a test maker would make a question of. 4) Write things you want to …

OP, you will find that Fay & Cline’s work is very similar to MRP. They discuss what frame and broken record in their own style. Along with a few other RP ideas in different language.

First a side note. I am not computer savvy. How did you pull out some of my text with the vertical line in front? The wife and I share a bottle of wine. 1 bottle. We each have 2 glasses. Booze has always been a cover for smoking pot. Great catch about the guys bitching at work. Thats a solid point. Hormones are not a problem. I have been using an MD and regular visits with blood draws. I just forgot to mention it in the OYS as part of the physical routine.

Noticing a small pain in the R lower back/hip that radiates to R glut. Starting to get sore now and failed at OHP @ 135. Also noticed some form deficiencies at this weight. Took one week off and dropped the weight to work on better form. Still staying discipline and lifting though. Still working w/ M.D.…

Sorry for the delay. First, you need to find a group and a good teacher to keep your mind right. Barring a teacher, I suggest you find a good jungian influence psych. This is due to the fact that there are pit falls and you need some outside perspective to keep you level. Also the meditations are an indirect way to do the work you want. I am unfamiliar with any method as a way to do what you want. The only methods I know of teach you about you. You will still need to confront your difficulties h…

There are benefits. What you do determines the how and the benefit. For example breathing practices will benefit the nervous system, concentration, patience, thought clarity and body integration. There are many different breathing meditations. Box breathing, long and slow, insight meditation. So if you use a long and slow method where you let thoughts pass and remain on the breath you will enter deeply relaxing but aware states of mind. The brain will produce alpha waves. To do this you need to …

OYS #3 ME: 5'8". 182lbs. 19% body fat. Married 8 years. One daughter 7y/o. READING: It was suggested that I write out my MAP. I was only following the generalized one from MMSLP. I just opened up and started reading MAP, the next book in Kay's work. After finishing it I will write up a new MAP. Going to head back and read the prereq's again. LIFTING/HEALTH/NUTRITION: I was consistent this week with my routine and schedule. Just going to keep that going. I can't afford to push it, that leads to i…

Games nowadays have modes. Guys who do the work and lift and have great physiques get to play the game on easy mode. Fat lazy guys play game on hard mode. You dont have to be a handsome man. Thats just looks and is subject. A guy who is strong from lifting and has reaped those benefits is objective and measurable. Edit: spelling

I get your point. I wanted to get that all out. Similar to exercising a Demon. I only have one other male friend I can talk to this way to get through the negative emotions. I am certain I can find 4 positive attributes.

Redbananaboard is correct. They are tearing you down to make themselves feel better. If they don't change, you should continue to change. Also consider, you are a reflection of the people around you. Surround yourself with people better than you.

I remember Rollo mentioning a study where women were shown faces of men during different phases of their menstrual cycle in Rational Male. Thats your best starting point. You probably will have to read random behavioral psychology experiments and translate to RP language. Good luck.

Get your news and media deconstruction from noagendashow.com. Its a podcast that examines the messages the news media puts out and then tries to make some level headed conclusions about politics and society. They do 2 three hour podcasts a week. Thurs and sunday 0900. I know of nowhere else that cuts threw some of the BP memes like they do, however accidental it is. They arent themselves into this way of thinking. They just see through the bullshit BP media better than anyone.

Yes, they can be found. You will have to interview the psychologists in your area. Literally make an appointment and then ask them questions about there work. I found one here in Vegas that says straight out on his web page. Good hinting.

Jungian (carl jung) influenced psychologists will be your best bet. They understand male arch types the best. Look for someone that does family and Jungian Psych. Stick with men. Then vet them. Hopefully you can find a few in your area and interview them.

I had a very similar problem. I did what someone else advised. I learned to fix things as they broke. I started with the dryer, washing machine, oven, dry wall etc.... you can fund resources all over the internet.

Continue on current path. Its important because your child is already learning about you. Even in the womb your child hears you. My daughter looked right at me at the first sound of my voice. Relaxed at my touch. All this tight out of the womb.

Diagnosed by MD officially. I knew due to research and a medical background before that. So I started diet, exercise, sleep improvement changes. I had a few events that proved that wasn't enough. I work with my MD and see her once a month. For the rest, thank you. That wasn't a perspective I was taking. I will be thinking on those. Is it worth going on to other books? All I have done is read NMMNG. I am not doing the exercises. Feels like I am not getting enough out of it. I could try to read mu…

Snatch, I have been using my KB's for pressing, goblet squats, TGUs, and swings since November. Thats whats helped my weight loss. Work pays me to exercise 1 hour a day. So 2 days a week is that and then on my weekends I do jiujitsu.

OYS#1 First Time Posting Greeting All, Situation/Status ME - 42y/o. 175lbs @ 5'8". BF% 12 (but looking at my spare tire, I don't think its accurate). 7 on 1-10 scale. Situationally Alpha (work) Beta in relationships (Wife). I definitely use covert contracts to negotiate sex with women previously and wife now. Sex is down to twice a month. It is lack luster and boring. As of the last 1.5 years I have been examining leadership as it pertains to work. Best book read on the subject and my main refer…

Relationships are important. You are going to have relationships with people you don't see eye to eye with. You are going to have to find a way to be around and work with people like that. Having relationships end badly like this isn't a good thing. You may need or want them later on in life. Burning bridges isn't good. I can understand limiting or not having contact with these people. But don't burn stuff to the ground. Its one thing to call out bullshit, but to alienate and make others feel ba…
