In my state(Florida), the jury can convict on a lesser charge. Is it not like that in other states? There's no reason why it shouldn't be.

I work LP. Resists always look bad but they did nothing wrong. People always think we can't physically detain thieves lol it's baffling. They did nothing wrong here. I wouldn't prosecute candy theft unless it was a fuck ton or the person was a repeat, but I won't criticize their decision to prosecute.
