Interesting thought. I don’t really know how things were back then but I feel like he was more about basic human rights and equality and things were still a little unbalanced to an extent. Oh she did. Her second day there. The ATM “ate her card” and she was “freaking out not knowing what to do”. My dad ran 3-5 mile runs 4x a week until he was in his early 50’s. Then he switched to walking the same distance cause of his back and knees. Now he’s 70 and goes to the gym 3-4 days a week and alternates between weight training and cardio, and everyone thinks he’s in his 50’s. It’s amazing what steady exercise can do for you, even if it’s not intense.

I was signing into the gym the other day and the girl at the desk was probably 22 and wearing the typical hipster getup with the big frame glasses. I handed the ipad back to her to do her thing, and when she gave it back to me to sign, she tossed it (had a case on it, but still) across the desk at me. I still said thank you when I was done and she just grabbed it without saying a word or even looking at me with a total bitch face the whole time. Like what happened to common courtesy.

I can agree with this, but wouldn’t say the “unless they don’t like you” is always true. I had a couple roommates that always gave each other shit (in a joking way), and I kinda made it pretty clear I didn’t really want to be a part of it. They respected that and left me out of it but we all forsure still liked each other.
