It seems to me that you, along with millions of other men these days, have been emasculated. You are a man. There is not a DAMN THING wrong with wanting to sleep with women. Many of our mothers have fed us the nice guy crap our entire lives which is most likely the root of your personal conflict here. The ability to adapt and get what you want out of life is a skill that should not be looked down upon. Seriously. My personal belief is that as long as you are honest and not deceiving or outright …

Disagree, it totally matters. You are setting the expectation for future dates. If you pay for everything now, she will expect it going forward. Not a good standard to set.

Relevant And yes, it does happen that often. In the US we are still slowly transforming from a society where men bring home the bacon to one in which both men and women bring home bacon. The young women of today were taught by their parents from earlier generations that the gentlemen foot the bill. Women from earlier generations either didn't have to work or worked for FAR less than men. So currently we are in a transitional period where new folkways and ideals are being formed.

1st Tip: Read on the topic until your eyes bleed. 2nd Tip: A woman that works as a cashier at a restaurant probably works her ass off to take care of her child. There is a good chance that there is simply no time for a date, or money for a baby sitter. Don't take it personally. There are plenty more women out there.

Slow down your speech until it is almost uncomfortable. Say the bare minimum to get your point across. Less is better. In order to get more comfortable around women, make female friends. As many as you can. You don't have to find them attractive, the exposure to women and being around them will gradually allow you to relax in their company. Have a good time!

Just my 2 cents: If you are here to get more comfortable with women, I'm not sure that holding eye contact with men is going in the right direction. With women, yes. Men, no. I also don't recommend doing this repetitively with the same person, it definitely gets creepy if you don't follow up with conversation or something. Best way to deal with social anxiety is to talk to people. Talk to everyone everywhere you go. A better way to challenge yourself is to talk to strangers and see how long you …

Believe it or not friend, there is a reason why guys pretend not to like a girl. It is not a high school game despite the title of a book floating around this group of guys. It is a strategy. You are being evaluated as a potential mating partner when you go out with women. When you call every time you feel like it and try to make plans whenever you feel like it, it probably seems to her like you are too easy. If you are too easy, it means she can do better and she will lose interest and try to d…

I believe a mature, well put together look has the potential to attract certain types of women before you open your mouth. However, once you open your mouth and use your words, you can attract ANY woman regardless of what you are dressed like. Your only limitation on who you attract is you, not your clothes.

"Yeah, I was sitting here, eating my muffin and drinking my coffee and replaying the incident in my head, when I had what alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity." Wonderful. I've had a number of these. They keep getting deeper and deeper. Regarding your realization, you are right. I've found that people who are what you might call, unfiltered, get this type of reaction OFTEN. Those people that just say what they think without considering how it might sound. I typically over-filter. Something…

Attractive/cute? THOSE girls are everywhere. Sounds to me like chet is right. If you are losing interest that fast, it is time to raise the bar, son. Any time I find myself breaking up, losing interest, feeling like she isn't all that after all... I raise the standard. Perhaps you aren't clear on where your standard lies. Perhaps compile a list of priority features that you want in a woman ranging from things you NEED to things you want. Start going after women that meet more of those qualificat…

Never ever. Only exception being if you are pulling the phone out to show photos of some cool shit you've done, show some video or something very relevant to the conversation. Make sure it's GOLDEN though. Otherwise, just keep it tucked away.

I used to struggle with this for a long time. There are many mixed opinions on the topic, so I recommend using a combination of them depending on the circumstances. At first it is probably best to start off slow. Gradually change your behavior and thought process so that eventually you will find it strange that women expect you to foot the bill instead of the other way around. As long as you are confident in your behavior and act like it is no big deal, it wont be a big deal if the woman isn't j…

Make the bright side about you, not the women. When you, your personality, your character, your body, your mind, and your future are the focus of your improvement (not women) it is impossible to NOT see the bright side. Your experiences with women will improve as a secondary benefit. Looking at your life like this also takes much of the pressure off of your back and allows you to relax around women, naturally making you more attractive.

Never ever ever ever ever ever settle. Not even when you've had a few too many drinks and her friend is just drooling over you. By never giving in you are forcing yourself to improve, and improve you will. I promise. If you continue giving in and settling for less than you truly desire, you will never improve and will continue settling for less until you are seventy and realize your mediocre (love) life has passed you by. Keep reading, keep practicing, keep learning. Stop settling. Good luck.

I am a firm believer in recycling with the exception of women. Very rarely has seeing a woman again after going our separate ways been worth it. If she is involved with someone else, you might be asking for trouble.

Texting is the mobile version of pickup. You can keep working even when you aren't out on the town. Can be a big time saver too for guys that cannot spare the hours to get out there as often as they would like. Good writeup. It seems like the ability to text with an impact is just another facet that makes a well-rounded fella.

Prop yourself up instead of them. They will talk more to 'catch up' with your displays of value.

Always look for patterns. If you are consistently getting rejected chances are good you are consistently making similar mistakes. No two interactions are just alike, so you have to look at the overall picture and see if you can point out some general issues or things that you say or do that you look back on and think, "DOH!" Just for kicks, read up about Colonel Sanders trying to sell his chicken recipe... good story about perseverance. Cheers
