I make sure to call them every day. Mornings are a bit tough but I’m going to start calling in the AM before they go to childcare as well

Thanks, I’m inclined to do this just for the sake of peace, but definitely have my concerns. For the time being I’m going to request that she either bring them to the park to meet me or some neutral ground

Thanks for the tips, I don’t want to create enemies as we need to be cordial for at least the sake of the children. I’m not trying to paint her as the bad guy, we both have our issues and made mistakes in this relationship. Taking the kids would be the most hurtful thing to do. She does have history and also family history with drug/alcohol abuse. Having more consultations is a good idea but not to be malicious in intent as a way to squeeze her out of having the legal support she needs. Maybe I’…

Yeah it’s not about legal advice I was just asking for tools, I’d like to try to communicate but idk if I’m just not saying the right words or if this is past the point of communication and requires legal intervention. Right now I need to lay low for a bit since it’s triggering; I don’t want to not see my kids but doing so is putting me in a triggering environment due to her so I’m forced to choose between myself and my children (and I’m in counseling as well for the aforementioned) Thanks for y…
