Damn straight! I've been reflecting lately upon her treatment towards me last few years; she wants me to act like the husband (good father, handyman, provider and witty partner in social settings), but I don't get to do all the husband things; that's where she stops the "husband act" and switches to strictly business mode (if isn't about the kids, house, bills or what's for dinner, she's not interested and rolls her eyes at anything else I want to talk about).

I don't think it'll be an issue for me; been doing a lot reading lately and discovering that my feelings and opinions are valid and I haven't been overreacting or too selfish so all that has sorta given me confidence (that I used to have) that if things get any worse I think I'll have the fortitude to end it (then pursue some new interests without having hide anything.)

I don't think I'm going to go cheat. But it was somewhat validating to hear you say that, especially after prefacing that with you being mostly a defensive poster (defending women).

Sounds seriously alpha, however I think his "I'm in charge attitude" would only work on a few...maybe it "always" works for him because of the type of women he dates (if there's any truth to what he said). Sounds like ideal stereotypical alpha mentality.

Awwww.... Somebody got beta-male syndrome? "Asshole", "alpha".... Call it whatever you want, for some illogical reason though, that is the guy most women will swoon to. Why do you think so many betas get upset at this?...because for some reason, it works! You might call him an asshole or jerk but he's gonna get laid!
