I'm from a shit hole area where most men end up in prison at some point in their lives. In the past few years, I've been solo travelling a lot, got my degree (Only person in our circle who wnt to uni), done mad long cycling trips and a shit load more positive stuff. Meanwhile my mates just got their girlfriends pregnant and spent the past few years working on their Alcohol/Weed/Cocaine addictions. These guy's try to give me a ton of shit for doing these things purely because "Well when I was you…

"I'm only gay on weekends". Or some other pissy joke like that, your response was ok I think, just you didn't handle her " nope" well. She probably said it as a joke and your just way over-thinking the whole situation.

Feel free to PM if you need anyone to talk to in regards to your disability and TRP. I've had a physical disability since birth but I was already doing the majority of what TRP recommends in my life before I'd ever even heard about Reddit.

This is implying that the UK didn't have conscription during the war and only the "Alpha" Males signed up. Men were killed indiscriminately during the war and we shouldn't forget that.

Your overthinking this way too much mate, there's a dozen reasons for her to give the reaction she did. Stop giving a toss what some sweaty petty criminal thinks of you and enjoy yourself.

UK, "volunteering" in a charity shop, Boyfriends in prison. Are you sure neither of you two are serving community service?

Since you seem to know what your talking about as a light skinned british person (Grandfather from Pakistan) do I keep my quite about the Pakistani heritage of my family? Indians in UK don give a shit but the Indians I've met across Europe seem to have an issue (Not all, just a large portion). I'm planning to be travel there in next few months.

I had to do this when I was younger. Moved in with a girl for like 8 months after being thrown out of my parents. I saved up and went to university (living on campus), have never seen her since.

Don't take no shit, Champions League final, there's gonna be a lot of drunkards looking to get rowdy. If groups of lads start getting a bit too loud, don't be afraid to nip it in the bud early and ask them to calm it (for the sake of the other customers also). I hope for your sake your just not in the Merseyside/North London areas. Edit: don't be so nervous either, if the owner is trusting you run the place on Champs League final then he obviously thinks you can handle, take it as a compliment.

I'm from a rough area in Europe with a slight physical (and visual disability) so fighting is common as a teenager (when I was more into these classes). Like I said it's more the classes why tell you how to deal with street fights than regulated ones I'm interested in. Just last 3 days ago whilst out in Vienna as a tourist I was attacked in the street and had to grapple the guy away. If you just wanna deal with drunken dudes in clubs then maybe you have a different mindset. I only mention Europe…

I worded that wrong, maybe it's more down to teaching style, but I've been to a flew classes that most focus on drill after drill and others where you have a bit more freedom. Also some instructors will teach you how to fight according to your disciplines rules Aswell as show you different techniques that you can use on the street.

As you mention, drill training exercises are hopeless and you need to be wary of joining the wrong class. Jeet Kune Do, is another one I'd recommend looking into.

I feel the same way, me and my friend as teens used to tag-along a lot with his older brothers mates (getting into pubs at 16 etc;). Now I'm 25 and all my friends are married and settled down whereas I'm sat here doing older person hobbies and planning my life path whilst the friends I have my age are still out smashing coke every weekend and trynna look good on the gram. The best thing to do is work on yourself until people your age begin to mature (Also my SMV is raised due to the fact I am ha…

Yeah this is wrong, next time your in a nightclub compare those who dance to the lyrics and those who dance to the beat. Once you see it you can't unsee it.
