A lot of the apps are pay to win now. If you’re not good looking you’re playing the apps on nightmare difficulty. Get off the apps, improve your looks by eating better, working out and grooming yourself and then try again in a year’s time.

This is a non answer. A “quality match” could mean anything. And then four stupid people upvoted it.

You being 6’4 is a huge factor. Women have overwhelmingly reported they will choose a tall ugly man over a short handsome man. Sorry short kings. Women’s attraction basically comes down to two factors: They wanna feel safe/protected and also look petite, feminine and small in their IG photos. If you look like her twink brother in photos, or like she’d be the one protecting you in a mugging, you’re not getting any play.

“single study” argument is lazy. A single study doesn’t prove everything, but it also isn’t worthless. That’s not how evidence works. You don’t dismiss data just because it’s inconvenient. You look at the methodology, sample size, whether the pattern is repeated elsewhere, and whether it matches observed behavior on the platform. in this case, the general pattern is obvious: dating apps are heavily skewed, women are far more selective, most men get very little attention, and the apps are designe…

You don’t. They did a study based on Hinge data and found women only swipe right 13% of the time. And of that 13% they only met the guy in person 10% of the time. A fraction of a fraction. Basically dating apps are dopamine machines for narcissistic women. Unless you’re a 10/10. You’re not getting any matches.

True story. Except drunk and big girls… and cougars.

Women want two things 1) to feel safe (security) 2) look hot and feminine in couples IG photos So if you’re weak, can’t fight, or look like her gay friend standing next to her you’re gonna have a bad time.

I said genuine. So if I say it I mean it.

You should know if youre bouncing around from group to group playing the numbers game, other women see that. Focus on one and it will make you more attractive to others Truest advice I ever received: “a woman always wants what the other woman has” Most importantly be honest about your intentions

Could be anything. What started off as friendly banter and some playful flirting could have crossed into work fraternization and they checked out. Could be something you said. Something you shared on social if they follow you. Could be an off day - hygiene, bad breath. Girls get “the ick” from just about anything nowadays. Best thing you could do is approach it head on and ask about the vibe shift

Know why you are using it. Is it for attention? Is it to share the things you love and enjoy? Be honest with yourself and act accordingly

You shouldn’t be approaching and trying to secure a number in the first few sentences no matter how pretty she is. What if she’s an awful person? It’s vitally important to put in the time and effort to discern if they are worthy of your time and effort. People love talking about themselves Asking good questions will keep their attention but you should always keep open body language showing that, while interested in them, the conversation is low stakes and can end at any time. I like starting wit…

I feel like majority of this is solved by just being a good person. Are you only using IG to pick up women/ get their contact info? Social Media has essentially become a necessary evil. Your life resume. Employers check it. Potential mates check it. Women are mainly checking for: -number of women you’re following as you stated Easily remedied by having a good mix of content you enjoy, family and friends as well as ladies you’ve met. anything that gives them “the ick” (basically anything fun) I.e…
