I personally think that everyone is allowed to have a preference regarding body count - it's up to the individual to decide whether they are ok with said body count. I think as long as you don't demonise someone for having a high/ low body count then it's fine.

We just reached 8 billion. I don't think a handful of younger people choosing to not have kids is going to have a devastating effect. Kids are not for everyone and it is incredibly selfish to bring another life into this world if you aren't 100% prepared.

No idea what happened beforehand but judging from this clip, both are in the wrong. The woman should not have been hitting him but her hits were clearly not affecting him at all - he punched her with such force that she fell over. That is not self defence, self defence would be using reasonable force to protect yourself. This video is just overall disgusting and toxic.

Believe it or not but the average person doesn't have control over the government. Women definitely are weaker, on average, in a biological sense - I agree with you, that is a fact. Obviously, men are more capable in certain areas just as women are more capable in other areas on average - I don't think this should affect men and women's abilities to apply for work though, they can do what they choose. But like I said, equal opportunity/ legal rights does not mean that sexism doesn't exist anymore. Exactly like how homophobia still exists despite there being equal opportunities…

Id argue that it is still important that feminism exists because it further pushes against sexism that, you have to admit, still exists even in progressive countries. Some people are definitely still sexist. For example, gay people legally have equal rights in the UK but this doesn't mean that homophobia no longer exists and that we should stop advocating against it as a whole.

Feminism is part of egalitarianism. Egalitarianism focuses on equal rights for everyone whereas feminism focuses more specifically on gender equality. Gender equality is what is needed within countries that do not have equal rights for women so therefore it is feminism.

Legally speaking, women do have equal rights in many countries. Obviously, feminism is needed in countries that don't have equal rights though. Just look at the Taliban for example, women have been banned from attending university. I think it is ignorant to suggest that women have equal rights and don't need feminism just because the women that you personally know aren't affected by sexist laws - sexism exists in this world.

Since men are, on average, bigger than women - it would be unreasonable to hit back at full force. The legal definition of self defence is using a reasonable amount of force to defend yourself, punching a woman who is statistically smaller than you would not fit that definition and would therefore be classed as assault rather than self defence. Believe me, I’ve spent a lot of time on this sub in attempt to disprove my own preconceived views - after communicating with multiple people here, it seems that no one wants to acknowledge anything contrary to their ideas, making them ignorant. I agree with some view points here but the negativity and hatred that is present in the majority of subs is overwhelmingly blatant.

There are so many studies regarding this topic. If you go onto Google Scholar and search "male mental health linked to masculinity" or "male mental health and stigma" then you will find many scientific studies on this area. I would link a study but I have access to full studies through my university so I wouldn't know which ones you can read in full or whether you can just see the abstract.

I’m pro feminism based on the definition - equality of the sexes. I don’t see how anyone could be against that. What I am anti is the vocal minority of “feminists” that do not stand for equality. Nope, virginity was originally only applied to women as a way to signify purity and to inflict control. Women who lost their virginity to anyone but their husband was branded as a “whore” and was outcasted from society. Men did not experience this as it was only attributed to women. Im not saying if hes guilty or not, I obviously dont know for certain.
