This was absolutely heartbreaking to read. I can’t even imagine what the last part of his life was like dealing with this abuse. She deserves the book thrown at her.

I’m a proud feminist but this disgusts me. A true feminist wants equality with men, not to subject them to death threats and hated. I love my husband, my dad, and all my wonderful male friends that make up at least 40% of my friendship group. I’ve also worked with some fantastic, kind, compassionate and supportive men who I know would not tolerate seeing posts saying “kill all woman”. Sorry to you all (assuming most of you are men) had to see this. It’s not fair and please know this does not rep…

Hi, and congratulations on your engagement! I got married last year and I have to say I loved every second. I should point out I was with my husband for 5 years prior, and we knew each other for 10 years before that. Our engagement was pretty long (18 months) and I had absolutely zero doubts. Good girl for taking power over yourself and making that decision! It won’t be easy but you’re a bigger person just for trying. I would say it’s less about the other women and about you and how you feel, and peace won’t come quickly but will develop over time. Any emotion you feel affects you more than anyone else, so learning to manage them is the best gift you can give yourself. I’ve been practising mindfulness and meditation which I know sounds a little cheesy, but taking some time out every …

It doesn’t sound dumb, everyone has to start somewhere :) Can I recommend a food delivery service, for example HelloFresh or Gousto (the latter may only be available in the UK)? This is what I use, and it comes with all the ingredients pre-measured and with a recipe card, so all you have to do is follow the instructions. A few weeks cooking with those and you’ll feel much more comfortable with the basics of cooking, and will produce really interesting meals. I’ve learned lots from it. Good luck!

I was going to reply and then saw your edit. Nice to hear that there has been a positive conclusion! A shame you can’t make it work but it sounds like two mature adults communicating and at least at the end of it you’ve made a friend.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
