| 1 | RAWRI'm doing a degree in War Studies because I find the subject really interesting but I also know that there's no jobs in it at all. Not defending Women's studies and I'm probably equally as stupid but at least I can talk about something cool. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 12/10/20 05:02 PM |

| 6 | Gender studiesThis is usually the argument many undergraduates make (including me, as I'm also doing a questionable degree). I got the connotations from your comment that you thought the reason she got those jobs was because of her Gender Studies degree, not her degree in general. Maybe I thought wrong, and of course you do have jobs that require certain degrees (medical, law, aviation, etc.) but overall I'd say that some degrees are actually looked more positively than others. | 11 | Gender studiesNot knocking your choice of subjects (I'm currently also doing a questionable degree), but what do you do in Gender Studies? Is it purely looking at how women are marginalised? I can't say I would do it myself but I am curious as to what you actually talk about and learn during that degree. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 31/05/20 06:47 PM |
| 3 | Oh, it’s not?I think it would depend on the woman. I know for a fact that while I'm sure my ancestors used to hunt and kill, there's probably a fair portion of women who, not only could they absolutely annihilate me in any physical activity, but be better as miners or that kind of job than me. As always, it depends on the individual woman and if we look at the grand view on paper it would obviously look like most women wouldn't be able to do the job, but some might: much like how a small number of women are … | /r/PussyPassDenied | 10/04/20 12:51 PM |
