6	Gender studies This is usually the argument many undergraduates make (including me, as I'm also doing a questionable degree). I got the connotations from your comment that you thought the reason she got those jobs was because of her Gender Studies degree, not her degree in general. 22	Gender studies I think the idea of getting a job after studying Gender Studies is less because of the actual degree itself, but because your girlfriend just did a degree. A lot of jobs don't really care what you got your degree in, but the skills learnt during higher education.
