I think this has been my main issue, everyone keeps confusing free speech and expressing of their opinion, if i went around saying completely off the wall things, then there should be consequences. I waited my limit before i needed to go.. realized the ladies was unlocked. Became bothered.. realized i had a brain, so knocked on it and asked repeatedly if anyone was in it, no one was, so i proceeded to use the ladies as respectfully as possible. Literally the same behavior i would hope my wife could do in the mens without hassle.

I did. I waited for 5 to 10 minutes. I was perhaps to impatient and should have waited longer to ask. But both customers in front of me where complaining of waiting 10 minutes in the pull aside area for drive thru. And at that point i was not even able to make eye contact. And not the type to just be rude and interrupt the customer in front of me

I actually did use the woman’s restroom after waiting more than 5 minutes and not even being acknowledged. I have been questioned about if i have worked minimum wage and i have. And when i have more than 1 or 2 customers in line i always made eye contact and said im sorry i cant help them but will be with them as soon as possible. Pretty easy customer service thats keeps someone in your store rather than back out the door.

Car wash, grocery store, been ground crew for crop dusters and helicopters, several. I think maybe your overlooking something. Its not the individual employees who made the decision but rather the management and staff…. Hence why i didn’t question the cashier and called and asked to speak to a manager.

Can you not read? I said they claimed it was due to a remodel that happened years ago and due to an ineffective lock. So after the remodel.. and the lock was removed from the ladies and not males.. and then after that a incident happened in the LOCKED males restroom. Yet you continue to keep the lock on it. Is that not ironic?

I actually wanted to find the incident that the manager was talking about to put myself in their shoes. I am reasonable. And i wont post specific location cause I am not here to shame. I like to give others the benefit of the doubt until they prove me otherwise.

Also, I actually would have been more upset if it happened to my wife than myself. So I think this is vary invalid. No where has anyone suggested any one sex be locked. I simply suggested to lock both.

I think you nailed it. That’s the main difference. “Women would complain in a second” and eventually it was probably be more cost effective to unlock it than keep having to spend someone’s time handing someone a key. I personally being a country boy, prefer the outdoors, who the hell wants to aim anyways?!

That was not my first move. I called the location and asked to speak to manager who continued to be rude. I guess maybe the franchise owners could have been the next step… but how to find those numbers and get that to happen? More difficult than looking up a corporate number. Because people go to these establishments based on a name and expect a quality or level of service that comes with it. Otherwise, we could just stop at any moms and pops burger joint.
