This post jumped out at me because I was brought up in a "dysfunctional" environment (mom divorced dad because he wasn't "exciting" enough). I'm betting she divorces the husband and goes to "explore herself" for awhile, screwing up the kids and the husband in the process. If you ever get curious, read the book "Wild Oats Project" sometime and you'll see what "bored" women do once they decide beta bucks isn't performing in the bedroom. 20	Don't be fooled by the marketing, getting more women into STEM is about wage pressures, not feminism I posted this on another thread that's since been deleted, but it backs up what you're observing and what OP is observing. IQ measure vs. % of females within that major I also (anecdotally) observed this in my statistics classes. Guess how many white, American girls were in there out of about 100 students overall that took the classes with me? 1	The Other Side of the College Sexual Assault Crisis Thanks for scaring me away from sex forever!! But, in all seriousness, a very interesting article. I like how Newsweek claimed the story is very well known and all the details of the alleged rape are clear. However, I never recall reading a clear summary of what exactly happened (correct me if I'm wrong). All I recall is that the girl claimed rape and the lynch mob came out for the guy. 3	Gender Attraction Differential Interesting video, thanks for sharing. This reminded me of King Solomon in the Bible who supposedly had 700 wives and 300 concubines. He was the 100th percentile (most attractive) male in the story due to his wealth and king status. However, learning the stories as a kid, I failed to realize this means many of his subjects probably had no wives and were deemed "unattractive" as in the video. 3	Why does this sub appear to be against equality? Correlation does not imply causation, but this is rather suggestive... IQ vs. % of Females within that college major Females might have the same IQ characteristics, but, from what I've noticed there might be a self-selection bias going on as well. I.e. attractive women don't seem to attempt the difficult fields because there are easier ways to maintain a lifestyle (marry a beta bucks). Guys have no such luxury.
