I'm sorry that's the way you read it.

Buddy. I didn't once defend the law. Have you read the comments in this thread?
/r/MensRights15/07/23 03:49 PM

You got me bro. How did you manage to suss me out so fast? You must be a genius.
/r/MensRights15/07/23 03:34 PM

So this has nothing to do with men's rights in your mind and everything g to do woth giving you the ability to harass people. You sound like an absolute nut job tbf.

I've always loved this sub and what it stands for but some of the comments in this thread are disgusting. Obviously I support these laws being in place for both genders. But there are literally people in here defending cat calling.
/r/MensRights15/07/23 05:13 AM

People in this sub seriously defending cat calling? Fucking hell.
/r/MensRights15/07/23 12:03 AM

Because maybe she's not wrong? Do you think he didn't ask what she did for a living or looked at her social media before dating her?!
/r/MensRights11/07/23 12:56 AM
-9

Or maybe don't date someone knowing full well you're not compatible. She didn't know his boundaries beforehand. It's a massive dick move to go out with someone knowing that the status quo doesn't work for you and not being upfront about it before the relationship.
/r/MensRights10/07/23 10:02 PM
-7

Nah man, he started the relationship knowing full well what her career was and what his own boundaries are. To flip that on her after starting dating is a massive dick move, she didn't know his boundaries beforehand. While I wouldn't really class it as abusive, I would class it as being a bit of a dickhead and almost toying with her.

Yeah, seems like they're both a little mental tbh. I guess that's celebs for you though.

Yes, she's a bit crazy for the reason she did it. We would do it because we were carting 6 people from nans Sunday lunch in a 5 seater car.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/01/22 01:50 AM

Most cars that is underneath the boot.

OK. My parents and family and all the families of my friends are terrible. Gotcha.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/01/22 01:44 AM
-5

Yes. I think it's fine on a rare occasion. The chances of getting rear ended hard enough to injur let alone kill him are miniscule. You don't need to wrap everything in cotton wool.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/01/22 01:34 AM

You lot seriously saying you have never been driven in the boot of your car?
/r/PussyPassDenied09/01/22 01:22 AM

Yes, it will be awful when I tell you sons not to threaten rape on young girls and tell my daughters to stand up for themselves. I will clearly be a terrible parent. Fuckibg reddit man.
/r/PussyPass13/10/21 01:35 AM
-3

How many times do I need to say these aren't innocent words, this was a threat. Play with fire, get burnt.
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 11:32 PM
-2

Hmmm. Whatever man, you do you and keep letting your daughters get intimidated.
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 10:37 PM
-2

If she could have been a threat then I don't think a pencil to the forehead (note a pencil, not a frigging knife) doesn't seem like that much of a misalignment. As I said, play with fire. Get burnt.
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 10:37 PM
3

Great, that's a dictionary definition. In reality when people cat call they are whistling and commenting on a particular body part. Not threatening rape. Yes, I agree we are differing. Though we should all find what that young man did abhorrent, and understand that he needs some serious education on how to treat other people and how his actions can effect them.
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 03:42 PM
3

I will fuck you in the ass is not a cat call. Its a threat. A pencil to the forehead I would say is a pretty reasonable response.
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 03:38 PM
4

Very different to say shit inside a friend circle than to threaten rape to someone you've never spoken to and who doesn't know you.
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 03:34 PM
-7

I don't ever remember saying shit like that wtf. That pretty extreme.
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 03:32 PM
-21

He didn't just say something vulgar. This is going g to sound a little REEE but I stand by it, he literally threatened her with anal rape. It's one thing saying "you've got nice tits love" ot something entirely different to say "I'm going to fuck you in the ass" Also, a pencil to the forehead, it's not like she stabbed through his skull...
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 02:28 PM
-47

Nah man, the old addage of 'Play with fire, get burnt' is very appropriate here. Own the consequences of your actions, and generally don't be a dick and shit like this won't happen.
/r/PussyPass12/10/21 11:13 AM

I have never heard of anybody losing their job just for getting 3 points on their license. She also said she worked for the NHS I believe.

He has friends who have been injured at this cor er because of cars doing exactly what she was doing. I would say that makes it his business. Don't want to get stopped? Don't drive on the wrong side of an island, that has a sign on it telling you to keep left. If she was in that much of a hurry that she needed to queue jump then why did she stay put for 10 minutes?
/r/PussyPass28/09/21 10:35 AM
3

Do you not have the skills to reverse either?
/r/PussyPass28/09/21 10:33 AM

Why would you let her complete the dangerous manoeuvre though? The whole reason for doing g this is 1) to draw attention to the situation in that area 2) stop the person putting cyclists lives at risk

/r/PussyPassDenied09/04/21 01:55 PM
2

Hah. Why did you even start this comment thread then? Here I am asking why OP finds it an act that reduces one's self worth to nothing and you come along with a pointless thread, not coming close to explaining yourself nor answering the original question.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/04/21 01:48 PM
2

I don't want to normalise anything. I want to know why you think it's degerate. I want to knownwhy you have the opinions that you do. I don't know why you have such an inability to describe it.

I just want you to explain yourself. But you don't seem able to. It's fine, I get that you're just not bright enough to piece together a rational thought process.

Sex is a degenerate filthy act? Or prostitution? And if so, WHY?! How is it so hard for you to comprehend that I want to know why?! What makes it so wrong in your eyes?
/r/PussyPassDenied09/04/21 12:13 PM
1

You didn't. You just kept repeating your comment about self respect. You have not explained anything. Though as I already surmised you're not the sharpest tool in the shed, so couldn't expect much more from you.

/r/PussyPassDenied09/04/21 10:01 AM

I have not shown support. You seem rather thick if I'm honest. You're saying you don't need to explain yourself when you literally commented on a comment asking for an explanation.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/04/21 09:54 AM
2

I'm the clown but not one of your comments answered the question that I asked. Just repeated what OP did (I.e. no self respect) I have a feeling that it is because you don't know. And that's fine.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/04/21 09:50 AM
1

I want to know why it means you have no self respect. What do you think is wrong with prostitution?

I am also suggesting that men cannot do what women can do under certain conditions. The point is it's not feminism or equalism or whatever you want to call shit. It's just what outcome you want. i.e. Do you want a student who can get a relatively better grade compared to peers under time pressure, or one that can get a relatively better grade compared to peers without time pressure. I still don't think we should bug one of my own administration's telephones. It's a daft idea.

Are you fucking dense pal? Changing the length of an exam means different scenarios! Scenario 1: 1 hour exam; Men do better Scenario 2: 2 hour exam, Women do better Understand?
/r/PussyPass27/12/18 10:08 PM
1

No. I am suggesting that in different scenarios men and women do differently. I.e. women do better when not timed, men do better when timed.
/r/PussyPass27/12/18 01:29 PM
1

It's showing a bias favouring one sex/gender, specifically the female of the species... It also highlights the previous bias towards men... (i.e. higher pressured timed exams favour men) What you need to do is trade off what is better; do you want someone to get something 50% right within 10 minutes (men) or 60% right within 12 minutes (women)?
/r/PussyPass27/12/18 04:14 AM
4

There are not many real world situations where you only have a few hours to do something. You can usually always stay later or pick it up another day. I have always been an advocate for open book exams without time limits (within reason, i.e. people shouldn't be losing out because they write 10% slower than someone else in an engineering exam)

However when it comes to exams I have an awful memory (probably something to do with my SpLD) for things like formulas and other bits and bobs. What I am good at is problem solving. I am a huge fan of open book exams as they reflect the real world and don't rely on a persons memory. (I would add that I went to Cambridge, thankfully my college did not require an entrance exam.)

It's 99% to do with the fact you need AAA to get in these days. which most students couldn't even dream of getting so why apply? Most students can get AAB which most other universities will accept for most courses.

If anything minorities have greater opportunity due to the huge amounts of scholarships available to them.

You need a degree, it just doesn't matter what you got to apply. However what you get does go towards them deciding if you are in or out.

Well in the US, the supposed Mecca of good teeth, they are at 61.7%... http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/dental.htm I know you really badly want to believe we have terrible teeth, but it's just not so. Sorry pal.

Well you're wrong there pal. http://www.nationalsmilemonth.org/facts-figures/ "61% of adults in England, 60% in Northern Ireland and 69% in both Wales and Scotland now attend their dentists regularly. In 1978, the figure was just 44% in England and 39% in Wales"

I thought one of the comments on the DM article was quite good. The fact you are behind a screen and not actually face to face can breed attraction as you are not actually conversing with a 15 year old, just an avatar. You could easily fall in love that way and then you're fucked really if you can't handle it properly. Harsh sentence is harsh.

So, they want to still give less than the rest of the world... This doesn't bother me. As much as I am for men's rights, one thing I fundamentally believe in is gender roles. I truly believe that women have a different relationship with their children and require more time with them in those early stages.

I have lived in three cities in England and seen/ridden in black cabs in every one of them... Sheffield, Nottingham and Cambridge. These people have norther accents. It sounds very much like Yorkshire.

Are you being serious? You are clearly not from Britain if you think black taxis are only found in London.
/r/PussyPass28/04/15 07:13 PM

You cannot hear their accents? The White Knight sounded Manc and the warden and taxi driver definitely sounded Yorkshire. How you came to the conclusion that this is London, I don't know.

I have never heard the suffragettes being victims of gender injustice during the war? If anything both world wars helped women be seen as more capable of tackling more physical tasks such as farming. It would have been highly impractical to send them to the front as soldiers.

The title is completely wrong. a) She has not been granted any amount of money, she has been granted the right to go to court to get an amount of money. The supreme court judge said she would not get the full amount either but enough to probably buy a house with a mortgage. b) It is more like $2.5m c) You have not mentioned the fact he dumped his child on her after the seperated and didn't help once. d) He did not become a multi-millionaire 20 years after seperation but around 10 years after.

From what I have read and heard on the radio she brought up the child after they divorced on her own. Therefore she was feeding two mouths and struggling to get by. You're telling me that doesn't deserve rewards? With the extra money she would have had if he paid his part she could have started her own business and made millions. Instead of saving up for a deposit for a mortgage she was paying to feed this kid. Instead of paying off said mortgage she was having to pay rent. That is why she deser…

It's because the time since the divorce (when child support should start to be paid) is so long. (I think it said it in the article somewhere. If it I heard it on the Today programme this morning).

Why? He didn't pay for his kid whilst he was a millionaire. This is what the main point of the claim is. This does not belong here. She will likely get c. 0.3% of his wealth.

The guy didn't pay for his kid when he was a millionaire. She is likely to get enough to "afford a house mortgage free" so around 300k max. I don't think this belongs here.

Can anyone clarify if he paid anything for the son he sired with her? £2mill is excessive but £50-100k seems reasonable (I read the avergage child costs 180k or something similar) unless he had a bit part in his life already.
