I was thinking about this last night before meeting a girl for the first time whom I met online. I decided to just play a comedian station to keep me laughing while driving out there. It put me in a good mood and hearing them share stories and moments of their life helps reflect on my own funny moments that I have experienced. We ended up having a great time!

I agree, there is a difference between nice guys and good guys. A simple explanation is that nice guys are insecure and seek validation by telling others of their nice acts. A good guy is confident and genuine about what they do without looking towards others for confirmation.
