I'm actually a bit divided on this one. On one hand, if they simply decided to appear on Gash-o-vision, and it didn't work out well, boo frickin hoo. You signed a contract. If you aren't willing to face the revulsion of society, dont do things society finds revolting. On the other hand, if the porn company entered into a contract that agreed to take a number of steps to hide the identities of the performers, and to pay a certain amount of money, then failed to do what they contracted to do, then…

This is correct, but you have to understand how we got here. The modern child support enforcement mechanism was a 70's and 80's invention of racist white boomer men who decided that the old ADC (Aid to Dependent Children) program was making their taxes go up and forcing them to pay for minority children. So, they coined the term "deadbeat dads" and essentially brought back debtor's prison. In so doing, they universally screwed over ALL men, (So take THAT Tyrone.) <eye roll> They turned fatherhoo…

This is a perfect example of why I chose a career where I work alone. I work by myself, and interact as little as possible with anyone within the company. When I was loading up my gear one morning one of the other guys asked me why I'm always so quiet. I said, "sorry man, no offense intended. I'm just not a very talkative guy." I put the last of my gear in the truck, and said, " have a good day, and stay safe." Then I rolled the fuck out of there.

I wouldn't care if it was an apology. Even a groveling apology. Some things are so far beyond the pale that there is no going back. Fuck Gillette and their masters at Proctor and Gamble. Never another dime to those worthless fucks.

Why not just toss $56 into the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter Fund? That way you at least help out a brother who has had his world fall apart, rather than subsidize some home who needs to just get a job

Nope. We live in an "At will employment" state. That means as long as they have the will to employ you, and you have the will to do the job, you have a job. They only thing they opened themselves up to was an unemployment insurance claim

I would show this to my nephew, but it would cut too close to the bone. Wife divorce raped him. Child support was set by the court. Right after that, she had the dude she was sleeping with, who owned the company where he worked, fire him. On the new job he makes much less. He has $44 left each week after child support. He lives in my camper in my back yard now. Shit is brutal.

Call the police. Charge her with criminal damaging. Then sue her in civil court for the cost of the plants and the labor cost to repair her mess, loss of revenue due to the exhibit being closed for repair, and punitive damages. If she doesnt pay, garnish her wages for as long as it takes. We have legal mechanisms to deal with this sort of bad and antisocial behavior.

Yep...driving down the road one day in the company truck. Saw a little girl riding a bike too big for her wipe out, and fall 6 feet down into a concrete drainage catchment. Bashed her head on the concrete. Stopped, made sure she wasn't bleeding bad enough to die in the next few minutes, and drove 2 miles into town and got the local cop from the school zone and had him go deal with it.

Yeah, outdoor gaming at Joe Wheeler State Park in Alabama. The Park Ranger almost caught one of the guys with beer in the park, but Blizzard sounded the alarm that we were being crept up upon. He was a good boy. I went to investigate and was able to say, "Hey Mr. Park Ranger, we have cold cokes in the cooler, and burgers and dogs ready. Come and have some. Take it from a guy who has lived in a camper for the last year, take all the seat cushions in that camper to a good upholstery shop, and have them redone with top quality high density memory foam. Your ass and back will thank you. Camper upholstery looks good, but its crap material and doesnt hold up. Also, replace the bed mattress the same way. It will cost you some coin, but worth every penny :-) Other than that, find a beautiful spot to set up, and enjoy your new life. It is sweet.

I'm 48. One of my regrets in life is that I never had children. I married, but health problems prevented her from having children. For the full story on that, check my post history for my introduction thread If I could drink from the fountain of youth, and be 20 again, I'd never marry though. Western civilization and culture is circling the drain with increasing speed, and marrying today is financial, and possibly physical suicide. Hobbies are the key. It doesnt much matter what the hobbies are. Buy a table saw, make things out of wood, and join a local woodworking or makers group. Get into RC models, and join a club to fly, drive, or sail the model you built. Golf, tennis, mountain biking, hiking, whatever is the thing that peaks your interest. Go out and do it, and join a social club for people who do that. Instant friends, and a more interesting life as well.

I learned my lesson on this one long ago when I was a young man. Bear in mind that this was 24 years ago, before cell phones, and before satellite communications was a thing most trucks had. In those days it was pretty common for drivers to help each other out, because we all needed help from time to time. A female trucker was pulling an oversized office trailer down Harlem Ave in Chicago. Those things roll on shitty tires, and one blew right in front of the little gyro stand where I had stopped…

Ok, perhaps the average guy can't do an engine swap, or replace a transmission, but the average guy certainly can change an alternator. Its 5 bolts and 3 wires. For Pete's sake, it isn't rocket science. Likewise starters, water pumps, and any of the external engine accessories as well. Suspension work is also not a big deal, and becomes less and less of a big deal the newer the car is, as lean manufacturing techniques have caused everything to be modular. Bought the truck for $1850. Total cost for truck and subsequent repairs is less than $5000, for 240 months of transportation (not including fuel and insurance, but fuel and insurance is not included in auto financing, so it's fair to omit that cost.) That's less than $21 a month. Show me the more cost effective option. The point does not stand.

I bought a 10 year old pickup truck...20 years ago. I'm still driving it. I've spent roughly $3000 on repairs since I've owned it, most of the work done by me. Three grand over 240 months. Not $100 per month, but not far off of that figure. I'm almost 50 now, so my basic insurance is dirt cheap for me, like $40 a month. So, over the long term, $150 per month is perfectly attainable. Beats the hell out of car payment slavery

APALT. All People Are Like That. There are uniquely feminine asshole strategies just as there are uniquely masculine asshole strategies. The real problem is that our society used to have a boundaries that kept people from behaving like assholes, and punished them when they did. Those boundaries have been broken down, more so among women, but among men as well. The result is ever increasing asshole behavior.

The sad thing in all of this is that there is such a thing as real racism. It is an ideology that says, "You are different in appearance than me, and therefore are less human, and inherently inferior, therefore there is no obligation for me to treat you with human dignity." That ideology is repugnant, but that is not what we are discussing the vast majority of the time when someone uses the word "racism." This is to the great detriment of people who have experienced the real deal.

Sometimes people become "ethnic chameleons" to avoid persecution of some sort. The end of WWII was a period of both anti-Semitism and the kickoff of the cold war red scare crap. It is plausible that they adopted an alternative backstory to avoid social issues due to the politics of the day. Your story isnt solid evidence of cuckoldry at all. It's possible, but not at all proven.

Wasn't really saying that. The word "racist," much like many words that end in "ist" have had their definitions artificially, and ridiculously broadened to the point that they mean little beyond "a person with whom I disagree." They have become little more than a mechanism for shutting down a discussion. I was commenting on that larger philosophical issue. When you say "racist" I'm not even sure what you really mean any more. In some circles it is believed that all white people are racist, and a…

Kind of tired of being endlessly accused of "isms." Usually when someone accused you of being an "ist" who subscribes to an "ism," what that usually means is that they have no logical rebuttal to what you are saying, and want you to stop talking.

Well, it is a pretty pathetic pussy begging thing to just randomly send out dick pics in hopes of getting laid. I mean, has that ever worked in the history of the internet? Seriously, spamming the web with pics of your dangly bits seems like a way to make your SMV plummet to negative numbers...thus the charge.

Tell her it's not working out. "Sorry, this isn't what I thought it would be." Give her a 90 day eviction notice, and stop taking her money. With 90 days with no rent to pay, she ought to be able to get her shit worked out to go. Hell, rent her a UHaul and pay her security deposit on the new place if she's having trouble. Just get rid of her with as little friction and rancor as possible. If you aren't happy with her there, it's cheaper in the long run to take the financial hit and pay to get ri…

Principle is the amount you invest. The investment is a growth stock mutual fund. I'm not a financial services guy, so my understanding is limited, but that assumes an average growth rate of 12% per year compounded interest. Of course that assumes good professional management on the part of the fund operator. Like I say, you need to talk to a good, reputable financial services person. If you have that much to invest, you will have his undivided attention :-)

You have plenty of time. I don't know what programs are available in Germany, but the short simple answer in that any well managed, market based investment will add 3 zeros to the principle amount with 20 years to grow with compound interest. So, see a financial professional, and get started now.

Personally I've never understood the antipathy towards gay men. Since it's far more common for men to be rigidly gay than for women to be rigidly gay, every gay man increases the number of lonely women who want to get laid. If you are of the PUA persuasion, you ought to be sending a every gay man you know a thank you card. As for the "benefit" of going gay, if the idea of a mouthful of penis makes you a little nauseous, well there's not much benefit there, now is there? If that idea doesn't make…

If some crazy guy started harassing some woman on the bus, I would definitely pull out my phone and call the police. I pay taxes to help fund a police force to deal with social issues. It costs me nothing to summon the services I have already paid for, and I would hope that someone would call them if I was in trouble. With that, my reasonable social obligations are met. I have no obligation to engage in physical combat with a loon. I pay for that service.

When "Up" came out we already knew, but her symptoms were mostly controlled by medication then, so it was pretty easy to ignore it and pretend it wasn't happening. I didn't see it coming. Made myself look like an idiot in the theater. :-(

I swear, at least 50% of a successful marriage is BOTH parties being too dammed stubborn to be the one who gives up, until they find what works :-)

Absolutely. That was 9 years ago. He's still single. His ex keeps screwing her life up. The judge keeps noticing how screwed up she is, and keeps restructuring the visitation schedule to give him more time with the kids and her less. If she keeps fucking up, those kids will end up living with Dad full time

Well, it mostly sounds that way because I edited out all the difficult parts of learning to be mature in outlook and respectful to one another. Year number 2 was actually pretty dammed difficult. We could easily have crashed and burned in the usual fashion if we hadn't been so stubborn. Thanks :-)

Yeah, as much as I enjoy the social interaction with the nerdy girls in our gaming group, I can see what a nightmare they would be to date. I peeked up out of my comfortable den, and it is indeed terrifying out there.

A friend of ours was an ASE certified master auto tech. Actually had an applied science degree in automotive technology specializing in automotive electronics diagnostics. Was making mad cash diagnosing and repairing the electronic problems nobody else could figure out. His arms stopped working properly. Congenital neurological defect. Had surgery to try to correct it. Surgery went badly, and screwed him up worse. Problem spread to his legs too. He was no longer physically strong enough, steady …

Ugh...I swear I put paragraphs in this post. On my phone however it's rendered as an impenetrable wall of text. Apologies for that.

When a woman says she has been raped, we need to investigate. We need to gather evidence sufficient to overcome the presumption of innocence. Should we find such sufficient evidence, charge and vigorously prosecute the criminal. Should we NOT find sufficient evidence, we then begin a new investigation to see if there is sufficient evidence of a false and malicious accusation to overcome her presumption of innocence to prosecute her for filing a false report. At least, that's how it ought to work…

Don't ever joke about or satirize radical feminism. No matter how ridiculous you make it, they will assimilate the joke, and make it reality.

Rare? Bullshit. I'm a well mannered, 47 year old guy who treats everyone with respect. Yet, I have had a false rape claim in my life. Luckily for me it was from mentally unstable women who was not taken seriously. She had accused 5 men of raping her within 10 days. The cops asked me if I raped her. I said I did not. The cop said, "yeah, we didn't think so. Don't worry about it. If we need further information we'll call you." The poor bastard she accused first got perp-walked out of his job and k…

I did upstairs deliveries by myself for years. No problem as long as you are smart about it and deploy the correct equipment.
