Ah sorry, didn’t recognize what 8 inches looks like without it being buried in that disaster you call your face.

It is. But so is abortion. Or assisted suicide. Or racism, sexism or any form of discrimination. As you mentioned nature is not nice, but that isn’t a good enough reason to not address these issues. We have been fortunately and sometimes unfortunately given the capacity to sometimes steer this vehicle we call humanity. Sure. Sometimes great mothers turn southbound and kill their kids. Unforeseeable. How bout the mom, or dad, that’s already southbound? How the mom or dad who’s already southbound …

I am serious. But good question and I’m not sure. I do know however, just because we haven’t figured out a way to do it, isn’t a good reason to not try to figure it out. Further, I also know that if we agree on trivial matters in life, like driving, fishing, installing plumbing, and the list goes on, require a certain degree of competency, ultimately a degree of regulation, then why are we so indifferent about something as important as bringing in and caring for human life? Remember, we frame it…

I see your point, trust me, I do. I just don’t know that it’s more inhumane than what’s happened to this kid. And as a reminder, this is one example that for a lack of better description, was fortunately brought to light. There are many cases that are same in nature, if not worse, that are happening as I’m typing this up. I believe with power comes responsibility. Sometimes I feel we preach about individual rights and privileges as if we all deserve them. Some people are just not yet responsible…

Won’t be a popular opinion but not everybody should be allowed to have kids.

Not sure. I always have a boner.

What makes you think it’s the type of sex that requires him getting a boner?

Yup. When people remember that, we can stop saying it.

Unfortunately, because people forget it when it comes to women committing crimes.

Working as a first responder, we run into this all the time. People always resort to faking it, when getting caught shoplifting, or being involved in a minor accident attempting to make a case for a potential law suit down the road, etc. Silly as it sounds, a surefire way to determine faking or not, is to lay them on their back and then pick up one of their arms, hovering the hand over their face. Let go of that hand, and if they’re faking it, their hand will conveniently fall to the side around…

And that’s fine. Just don’t be lofty about it after the fact, pretending to have been fighting for the right side all along when you weren’t. And when time comes to admit that you were complicit, then admit to being complicit, cause you were.

Kind of but not necessarily. Victims coming out, in my opinion, would be equivalent to the ones who actually helped knock the guy down. Weinstein probably wouldn’t be in the shape he’s in if it weren’t for the overwhelming volume of allegations. Streep and people like her, are the ones who ride the shoulders of a bully, not saying a word about the bully’s behaviour, until he gets knocked down for his behaviour. Not until then, will people like Streep come out and preen their morality and suddenl…

Perfect. Hollywood in itself is a breeding ground for self righteous, moral preening, lofty losers already. Amongst them all, Meryl Streep is the queen bee for this garbage. Claiming moral righteousness and yet never actually being morally right.

Not sure it’s so much about her not saying anything as it is about her standing on her moral high ground condemning the issue after the fact, while never saying anything when she should of. It’s like kicking some guy that’s already down, which you never had the guts to fight before and then claiming you knocked him out.

“Lesson was learned”? What is she, 7? As a supposedly functioning adult, the mere act of stealing should already register as unacceptable but to steal from the poor (reasonable presumption I’d imagine) is what’s so fucking heinous here. I’d be ok if she got harassed for the next year.
