I've got The Prince and Meditations collecting dust on my nightstand. Challenge accepted.

Actually, yeah. Almost definitely, she will. Money is nice at first, but it's nothing compared to status, family, power. Money is grease, not the machine itself. So yeah. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see someone like her rich but miserable.

Believe and hope what you want. He will be what he will be, and the same goes for me. Whether he succeeds or fails in his life is none of my business anymore.

Sent the guy a message suggesting he check this sub out. He didn't respond, but he did update and call RP pathetic. It's funny. When I first subscribed here, I would have taken some form of umbridge to that, but as the year has gone by and I've learned the value of walking your own path, I suppose it's perfectly alright. If he finds his own way and lives a full life without this sub, who am I to judge? I think I'm finally past the anger phase.

And then you have lurkers like me, who find this article interesting, stimulating, and delicious food for thought. I'm far less interested in banging plates and far more interested in philosophical thought exactly like this.

Self-actualization, I think it's called? I don't recall the actual term, but in the Matrix films, it was possible for a person to unplug themselves in the right circumstances. I'm seeing a parallel here.

True, size does have a big effect on people. (Hah, there's a pun.) However, everyone could gain something by learning some Game. Knowing how to act in public settings is a very useful skill.

Get to work. For men, being attractive is something earned. Go full on monk mode right now. Forget women, forget attracting people. Spend the forseeable future investing in yourself. When you see what you're capable of, then MAYBE start looking at Game. But for now, develop yourself.

Time you enjoy wasting is not necessarily wasted time. Don't get me wrong, I get it. Making them your entire life is a risky move, as is any form of entertainment. However, you should never fully discount any past-time. Video games are a massive industry today, and can be a successful career if approached with the right attitude. If you feel that you have a problem with video games though, then maybe you are the problem, not the past-time itself?

Hmm... not sure if I agree. In this subreddit though, I'd expect people to be more well spoken. We're expressing ideas and concepts here, not trying to get bitches. When in Greece, speak Greek. When in France, speak French. When on r/theredpill, speak r/theredpill.

If you don't want to, then don't. But resorting to sarcasm only makes you the lesser person. Go your own way, but at least try to do it with dignity.

I've been here for a couple months now and I've tried to make a point of keeping my mouth shut. On that note, this is fantastically written. Collaboration with a deep-rooted respect is something I've definitely seen lacking in a lot of my male friends. I'm certainly going to try and forward this information to them. Or rather, forward them to this information. I'm still learning and don't want to butcher this excellent message.

Very well said. I'm gonna have to pay attention for situations and deliveries like this to see what I find. I've been in monk mode for a long time now, but it might be time to start learning seduction.

It's funny how TRP changes you. A year ago this would have pissed the hell out of me. I would have related to the victims. One year after taking the pill, and not only am I not surprised, but I relate to the top dogs.

People say life's not fair, and sometimes that's true. However, when it comes to fitness, it's totally not. Your body reflects your personal standards. If your body is shitty, then what are your standards?

Jim Jefferies does a fantastic bit about this, I forget exactly how it goes though. Basically he jokes to the women in the crowd saying "hey girls, did you know drinks cost money?" This reminds me of that.

I'm reminded of the (terrible) film "Soul Plane." There's a scene where these two massive female TSA screeners practically rape a guy that they found attractive. It's portrayed as a joke in the movie, and even before my RP days, I always found it ridiculously hypocritical. Not saying this is the same thing though, just something I'm reminded of.

Interesting that he use an analogy of a snake and then goes on a tirade that men need to change their behavior to prevent "rape culture." That women don't need to change their behavior in any way, and that men have all the accountability here. Returning to the snake analogy, what SHOULD you do when you come across a snake? Do you point a finger at it and tell it that it needs to change its behavior? Of course not. You avoid the snake, you steer clear of it. You know, accountability.

I've been thinking similar thoughts lately. The other day at the gym, I was constantly plagued by the one question: "what have I built lately?" In the past year, I've paid off all my debts, had laser surgery to fix my eyes, and paid off my car. All this is less than a year, and in all the years prior I've never been so productive. (This is largely in thanks to the Red Pill.) However, I constantly am reminded that I am not satisfied in the back of my mind. I look at what I've done so far and cons…

I was about to say... It sounds a little too good to be true. I'm not saying it's fake because I wasn't there, but even if it is fake, it's a nice idea to work towards. (Although really, TRP means more than sex with women I've moved past in my life. But that's just me. To each their own.)

An interesting thought. The majority of women that I talk to often say how they think about sex just as much as if not more than men. They simply choose not to act on it or express it. This leads me to think that women stating their love means more than a man's is absolute bullshit, even if they are lesbian. We're all human, and there's no shame in liking someone strictly for their sexuality. I just feel that women feel more shame for liking someone based on that alone, and they totally shouldn'…

Before I found TRP, I used to say that if you wanted to find a good girl, go to where good girls would be. Places like churches, libraries, volunteer centers. You know, places where you would expect good people to be. After taking the Pill, I'm not certain this theory is correct because, as we all know, AWALT. However, I think there might still be some credence in there somewhere. You might find a woman who is at least slightly better than most. Then, as you either spin them or LTR them, you edu…

While I see the points you're making, I'm reminded of a thread I saw yesterday about the man that is divorcing his wife after finding out she was a slut in her college days. In that regard, he was judging her for her past, not for what she was doing in the present. (I know that she purposefully deceived him actively, and thus deserves what she gets, but still.) I suppose my point is, it's not right, but it's hardly unfair for them to judge in the way they do, considering we can do the same thing…

"It's tragic that some people's grips on their lives are so tenuous that they will cling to any ideology rather than embrace the occasional bleak truth." At least, I think that's how Calvin said it. It's such a rare thing for people these days to develop their own ideology and perspectives. I love TRP as much as the next guy, but even I don't absorb all its lessons as doctrine.

While I respect this guy for making a decision and sticking to it, I would not have made the same choice. I'm not even sure about having kids in general, much less one with a mental condition. To be frank I'm not entirely sure. The reason given by others on here is that our sub could constitute hate speech of some form. However, I personally don't see it happening. If history has taught me anything though, it's to always prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

What upsets me about all this is that with all the talk about TRP being banned, we are essentially misunderstood and absolutely reasonable in our nature and intent. It's infuriating to see women so enraged by us when truly, the flaw is in their own nature.

Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise? While I am grateful to the awakening that TRP has provided me, staying online when I could be reading, lifting, or otherwise improving my life is somewhat counterproductive to the heart of TRP. On another note, what's stopping we, the members of TRP from developing our own website that serves as the new hub of all TRP knowledge and discussion? At this point, Reddit only serves as a vehicle to TRP to me, and it would be quite convenient having our own websi…

I don't have a link on me on mobile, but the sidebar has some good essentials. As for actual classics not strictly pertaining to TRP, any bookstore or library is going to have a classical literature section. Something I did when I was your age (I'm 23) is pay attention during English class. If you read something in class that catches your interest, research the author and look for their books. I was the guy with tons of female friends that would give you the real lowdown on what they liked, and I'd tell you if I thought you'd make a good couple. Nah, it's because people frown on the whole groping women in public thing. Most folks can learn to deal with a guy with high SMV, but generally grabbing a gal without clearance is frowned on. The way I see it, both sides have their faults here. Edit: To clarify, it doesn't matter if this guy partook in said groping. What matters is that these mob-minded people THINK he did, and are basing their actions around that. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. It's just what's happening.

My bad. From the responses I'm seeing on here, most guys seem to be saying that this kind of girl is not girlfriend-worthy and should serve only as a plate. I'm curious as to why that is. If there's history with someone, the sex is great, and you've broken past the orbital barrier, wouldn't that be a good type of person to enter into a committed relationship with? Again, I'm new so I'm still learning.

It's an interesting issue; Oftentimes I'll see or hear a woman chewing out some poor Arab girl with the headdress on because of feminine repression and all that bullshit. However, when I talk to those same gals, they talk about how that headdress (I'm not entirely sure if it's a burka, hijab, or whatever it's called) represents feminine modesty and pride to them.
