I don't know if that was actually meant for me since I don't post much, but thanks?

Obviously we wouldn't want to recreate everything from the past, but if we lost something important, we might want to bring that back

Except a woman will probably be more confident and also have an easier life. I honestly believe that being a man who isn’t a man is way more terrible than people think. That’s probably not such an uncommon sentiment on TRP though. But look at incels, for example. What they really want is to express their masculinity in a positive way, but without knowing how to do that (or being allowed to do that in some cases) they start hating themselves and the world. People readily admit this but still thin…

This lady legit thinking it’s better for a guy to be killed than divorced... I hate to say it, but this really says something about society.

It is equal opportunity that you're skeptical about? I have a hard time seeing any justification for not having equal pay for equal work (though I'm aware that "equal work" is sometimes hard to define in practice)

Damn, we might as well all go blackpill if that's the competition

Well, to an extent, or at least in a specific context. A mother will usually love her son, for example.

So what context am I missing here?

It also depends on what club you go to. Some clubs are known for basically being meat markets because people really just go there to get laid, while others people genuinely go to to have a good time with their friends.

Honestly that subreddit just reads like a roleplay forum to me.

I did the exact same thing last week and I'm still kind of upset about it. The thing that pisses me off the most is people being stupid and this time I got really mad at myself. I'll definitely be motivated to not repeat the same mistake next time though.

It is hard, no doubt about it. The good thing is that you can see yourself moving in a good direction much more than you could as a teen, in part because you have more control and in part because your brain is actually developed and you can think ahead. I won’t deny that there are plenty of opportunities to fuck up though

I think most of us see the few that have a really fucking good time in their teens and assume that is the norm. I always felt like media was telling me my teen years were supposed to be super awesome too, but honestly your teens are naturally difficult due to all the changes you have to go through. I think your message is great because your 20s and 30s are way better than your teens if you have even a remotely decent idea of what you’re doing.

I have a hard time seeing this being the case. Who would turn down a woman for being funny? If anything that will make me more interested.

Meh, some people look awful in a buzz cut. There’s no one size fits all when it comes to hair, you have to do something that fits your style.

I absolutely want to be a good father one day and often feel discouraged by the things I read here. I appreciate your perspective a lot. To me it seems like the final boss of a man’s red pill journey to be able to be the head of his own family, but that’s also what you should strive towards. The hardest goal is also the most meaningful, I think. Could you elaborate a bit on your view on maturity? You said that it is distinct from good game, which I agree with, but then you simply call it “an adv…

It’s come to our attention that most of you 5’10ers out there are actually 5’6. The charade must stop. This type of dishonestly doesn’t just hurt your matches — it hurts us, too. Did it ever occur to you that we’re 5’6 and actually love our medium height? Did it ever occur to you that honesty is what separates humans from sinister monsters? Of course not. Does anyone actually think this is serious? You know that it’s possible to be sarcastic on the internet without /s right?

your happiness isn’t at the bottom of her velvet tunnels, but at the bottom of your effort, the bottom of your strength Damn well put. When I started working out a lot of my friends would ask me why I try so hard, and I think this is why. The effort is worth it. Things we don’t have to work for are usually not that worthwhile. You can do stuff for fun, sure, but that won’t provide you with the meaning that sustains you.

That makes sense. I would have a lot of forgiveness with a friend of 8+ years but there's only so much you can do. Wasting your energy does no one any good.

Lower divorce rates are generally better for kids. Kids growing up good makes society more stable and potentially more fair. It certainly seems like something positive to me.

We talk a lot about trusting your rational mind over your emotions. Maybe we should also talk about trusting your intuition over your rational mind. Sometimes you know something unconsciously even though you couldn’t explain it to save your life. Acting on this can make you look stupid in the short term since you can’t explain yourself but it can save you some serious pain in the long run. Nurture your intuition and it will become your greatest ally. Neglect it and you won’t know what to do with…

Jordan Peterson’s explanation of it (see the Cathy Newman interview) is really clean and illuminating. Women evolved to take care of children, so they are more agreeable than men. Agreeable people avoid conflict and are less likely to demand things of others, i.e. they won’t threaten to take employment somewhere else unless they get a promotion or raise. The most interesting thing is that the difference in agreeableness between men and women is almost exactly 10% and the pay gap is less than tha…
