Best thing about ending it in your head during the marriage is that you are more concerned about the props and specs of your next build's armor in your fave game than her banging others. Like, sure, let her give him head if she fancies it. Just give me that helmet improving my damage as well as my str/hp.

I could've agreed with you had I not agreed with her in the first place. I despise and detest that old me. And about the comfort of solitude, welp, I don't have much say in it anyways. I am too old for being disappointed and hurt.

Been a lurker in here before my divorce. Reading other fellas' experiences made it easy. Regulate your life. That's the I advice I'll give. Male brain is simple and requires patterns. Once there is a life pattern, you have enough brain energy to focus on your emotional distress.

And it is not specific to USA/west. It is taking place in here, the MENA too

I can give you countless advice but for this time, I'll be selfish: Update us in two years after you find a job. Because I know for a fact that when you do, you will settle down all issues and start to rise. I'd very much like to hear you say you bought your house, car and have a fat amount in the bank

I think the main difference between you and I is that I have had my grieving period within the marriage. I don't know your age or status but I have realized that men become more attractive in the eyes of women as they age. So no need to worry about that. My suggestion would be to finalize the grievence before getting involved with someone else. I wish you the best, my brother

Because you were never allowed to have an identity outside the family. Always the father, the husband, the provider but never the XYZ enthusiast, YXZ pro or ZXY craftsman. It is time for you to explore 'you', my brother. Who is 'you'? What does 'you' like? What makes 'you', 'you'? The hard part as well as the fun part is that noone is going to help you with that. You are on your own in this adventure. I wish you the best of luck, brother.

Now, as you are my elder, I'd ask; isn't every women, to some degree less or more, like this?

I do not know this channel. Will take a look at it. Thank you for the recommendation. As for your probable marriage, I wish you nothing but happiness in your journey. I also would like to underline an ancient Middle Eastern saying: "The donkey does not fall in the same pit twice"

I am in my late 30s, sir. Yet, if the wish to fatherhood is disregarded -which, for my case, it already is-, I believe there is no difference among ages for the perspective of the divorced men. A 35 yo divorced male will choose peace over the potential happiness the marriage brings -as well as the larger portion of potential risks- in the same way a 55 yo male would. And as my elder, I'd assume you would second my opinion that the probability of a romantic relationship bringing a plus to our wel…

Been 2.5 years since the divorce. Once you start replacing the term of loneliness with the term of solitude, you succeed. I was experiencing the withdrawal from the order of chaos. As most women, the ex brought so much discord and unpredictability that it has become the normal. Now that they no longer existed with her abscence, I felt a deep sense of emptiness; hence, the loneliness. Fast forward 3 months in, I realized that +90% of those hustles were her bs and her way to feel some sort of exci…

All the best for you, my brother. All I am going to say is, though I have not been deep like uours, I have been around. And I'm telling you, once you cut her off, anxiety will try to take control but will eventually give up. There is light at the end, my brother. Hang in there

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
