How can you say this: All your plan does is encourage people only to date within similar incomes levels to avoid being slighted by those poorer than them, or at the very least to hide their full income. And then say this: if rents 100 and the space is occupied by two people, they both better pay 50, otherwise the one underpaying is out of there You literally contradicted yourself. My point was simple. Relationships can never be ALWAYS EQUAL, in some aspects, the man will pull more weight, in…

I don't think you put much thought into this statement

You think equality is the person who earned the advantage should give away that advantage to someone who did not earn it, and in many cases, didn't even try. This is where you talked about giving away advantages but the way I can admit I didn't phrase my questions correctly, my bad. You seemed to have injected a lot of your own thoughts into what I said to argue a point you want to argue, not the point at hand; which is what is equal and your example being not equal, but equitable. maybe I s…

Few questions, what advantage is this thats being "given away"? and What exactly is the other person earning anyways? And You're right I don't want equality because I don't think it's applicable in everyday relationships. I'm guessing what you want is if the monthly bills are let's say 100, both parties must contribute 50. In an ideal world, this makes sense, this works but we're not in that fairytale world. Truth is that -and I said this- people date across brackets. If rent is 100, you earn 10…

A woman's financial contributions can account for less than 50% even though she's giving all she can. But she could be pulling her weight in another aspect of the relationship, if it means to make sure that meals are cooked and the domestic side of things are taken care of. Here, in the domestic sphere, she could be giving 80% and the man 20%. These apply both ways, it can also mean the woman at some point starts is pulling more on the financial and the man on the domestic. Bottom line is that R…

So you're expecting every man to date a female that is in the exact same financial bracket as them? because here in real life, people date across brackets. It's about creating functional relationships that work in the long term, not trying to always be "equal" and the same.

also, we have to take into consideration that the earnings are not equal (usually the man earns significantly more) So if she's earning 10, He earns 50 but monthly bills are like 25, The man would have to contribute a lot more simply because he earns more Idk if that example made total sense but the point is, 50/50 works when both are contributing what they can. So sometimes the man's (or woman) 50 will be more than his partner

I mean as long as he's contributing equally to running household then this actually makes sense and works in the long term

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
