Sadly, yes and then they think they own you and that you're property. 😬

My ex boyfriend was exactly the same as OP's description. Insecurity isn't specific to gender.

I absolutely agree with this. In ANY dating/hookup scenario if these behaviours are exhibited it's time to go. A lot of what's described are called gaslighting techniques. They're used to control and manipulate their partners. Its super unhealthy and is destructive to everyone involved. I've learned these traits come from addiction issues, unresolved trauma (whether the person is aware of trauma or not), former abuse/conditioning, incompetent birthgivers or lack of adult involvement growing up. …

This is fascinating perspective to me. I find that being myself with someone who has brilliant conversation/interesting hobbies create desire for me. Liking someone for me is energetic. I'm curious about your experiences with people. Op my more important question: have you ever had sex with someone who gives you comfort and trust? Sexual tension is fantastic and fun to play with. However, for me that's merely the start of the experience. There are vast facets to sex. It's endless.

There's always time for discussion, trust. This way all channels are clear with mutual understanding. It's beautiful truly to be understood in desire. Example: Discussing any type of boundary/kink. This is crucial with attraction and desire for better enjoyment all around. Anyone I've been attracted to whose had trauma/this is massive for our enjoyment.

OP, it depends on my connection to said individual. If one of my male friends developed feelings, its way easier to sense and talk about them. Strangers in public, no clue. It helps when the interested party speaks up. That way it can be discussed for further enjoyment.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
