Interesting post with a lot of insights for men, written from a man’s perspective. A lot of useful things for guy’s to consider. That said, it still doesn’t get to the heart of the issue from a female’s perspective. Once you understand what that looks like, you see reconciliation is ALWAYS suboptimal for both parties. You need to understand this fundamental truth; nothing is forever in this world. Relationships are no different. And the real problem that keeps us stuck is marriage itself. Remove…

Simple answer I think women are surprised when marriage starts to feel like a big let down. While men sorta expect it at some point but are ok with the bargain. Generally speaking (there are exceptions of course): Men- view it as a lifelong agreement, and with that, anticipate the inevitable highs & lows inherent to life. Women- view it as goals to achieve and how it feels in any given time. So for women they’re taught as young girls the importance of finding a husband, wedding day, etc. Most wo…

Real talk: the quicker you accept this is over, and your stances on what a marriage should be is irrelevant , the better off you will be. It sounds like she is done. That’s ok. Try your best to spare her and yourself.

You’re right, I don’t want to argue something as illogical as a superiority of one sex over the other.

I’m not sure what you’re even arguing at this point? Do you want every person in society to have only/accumulate the same as the next person? Are you in favor of communism instead of capitalism? Do you want an equal 50-50 spirit amongst all professions for women & men? In America at least, citizens are afforded equal rights under the law, regardless of gender…so what am I missing here?

Define “less equal”. I can guarantee you’re less equal than me and the majority of other biological males at swinging some object fast (golf club or baseball bat). That’s just an absolute law of human nature as we know it. Pick a different activity or skill and I guarantee the opposite would be true and me & most men would be unequal to your ability. Please tell me the controversy with these very basic statements about human nature. I genuinely open to having my mind changed if presented with su…

I’ll be happy to address your statement because it doesn’t do as much for your stance as you might think… Yes, there are groups of humans not equal to others IN SOME areas of life. Pick any group of humans (or “ethnicity” if you prefer a less scientific term) and you will find they probably have an advantage relative to some other group. And vice versa in terms of a disadvantage. This typically has to do with geography and how humans adapted to their environments. But it also applies within grou…

You’re not going to get anywhere with this crowd. They’re not intellectually honest and refuse to address any of the actual points you’re making; just straw man or semantics. Of course men and women aren’t equal across all parts of life (biologically and some areas of society). This is ok, we’ve made a lot of progress and conquered the world vs other species because of it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
