I feel like I am in a really similar position. My SO is generally a really sweet, lovely and honourable guy, but he treats me the same way yours treats you. All I can think is that it's because I'm too nice to him, too attentive, and too willing. I have no idea how we change that dynamic. Perhaps you and I need another man, but it's SO much easier said than done.

I do all this for my SO, and he doesn't want to leave me, but he's also lacking in affection and not interested in sex. Surely you want more from your man than just 'not to leave.' I feel like giving him everything kind of makes him complacent and I have no idea how to rectify that.

You've made up your mind about the billions of individuals on the planet who happen to own a uterus and that's your prerogative. I just think it's sad, and I feel sorry you've had such a bad time of it.

I can see that some, or maybe even a lot, of women (particularly attractive women) get on a power trip when men fall over themselves to please them, and we all know power corrupts. But, honestly, not all women are like this. Not at all. Having some bad experiences with a tiny selection of women who account for a minuscule proportion of the women in the world doesn't mean you need to give up hope for having some nice female companionship. All people are just individuals and can't be so easily put…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
