I don't get the second part, about 'thy ways to that which destroyeth kings'

Yeah I'd like to have somebody I can have sex with and talk about my problems with, but unfortunately it's looking like that someone is not a wife.

I wish you luck but really think about what you're getting yourself into. "What you're getting yourself into." This is a great way of putting it. Marriage is a huge deal, and much of the deal is bad, and people just don't think about all the things that can go wrong.

Yeah joint accounts are very common, this practice is even more advanced in countries like Japan where men handle ALL their money over to their wives. I just don't understand it.

I wouldn't even bother having an argument like this. If she insists on marriage I don't talk to her again.

Fuckin' lel made my blood boil. "Women make the biggest sacrifice in marriage." What? What is she even talking about? In what way is marriage ever bad as a woman? Marriage is mostly bad for men and mostly good for women, this is why women are so much more excited about their wedding... as a woman getting married means you've made it as a man it means you've lost your freedom.

Man I don't even think it's this I think they're just nervous that the ideas being presented are true.

I really, really, really don't understand the fear of being alone. In fact, I think I'm more afraid of the opposite.

I was truly on the verge of catastrophe. Thankfully I found this sub and am now preparing for a lifetime of happiness.

Man, how the fuck does anyone fall for this kind of shit? Who on earth thinks this stuff is cool/good/worth being involved in?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
