I'm calling around today maybe moving before the end of the month. It's a very real story. It's going well cause we spend time away from each other. Like today starts her work week until Monday. I got a babysitter (her sister) so I can go meet some new friends. It is taking more effort and pain than I express in words, but the details are too personal too share.

I think this is basically what happened. I'm slowly finding more respectful divorces in the comments and it makes us feel great. We are both reading everything.

I feel like I'm still winning in a way. I get my own house with bills paid (by me), get my kids, and I get to date anyone I want, forever. I need passion and all that. Money is whatever to me, I know it should mean something but I'm autistic as fuck and just can't bring myself to care about it.

This is very painful but easier everyday. I want my love to be reciprocated. That is my goal. So i will find someone who will.

I have plenty of money. Money is not and has never been our problem.

Exactly. I will be dating before her most likely.

I'm not in a headspace that would care if she was fucking around honestly. I'm jsut ready to get my own place and get my life going again. Fucking excited really.

That is the real question. Absolutely. I trust her, but I can be fooled.

I was the breadwinner until I became disabled. It's not a big deal to me.

My strategy is not holding someone hostage that feels like they don't love me. I'm simply controlling my actions and feelings as best I can. That's all.

What about my happiness? I can't be happy loving someone who don't love me back. I want this now.

We both have our finances separate. Always have for 17 years. We are both fine financially.

There is no alimony or child support. Full 50/50 custody. We have bills of the children's we are already separating. I promise we have thought of everything.

I'm okay if it's for another person honestly. Means the same thing to me. It would hurt a lot, but it would change nothing on my end other than the discussion about lying to each other we would have afterwards. I'm legally blind (ssdi) and she makes 3x what i make, so if there was child support it would go to me, but we are both financially capable individually.

Yes, we are very lucky that we are reasonable loving people. She is the breadwinner so she is c covering extracurriculars and I cover phone bills. There will be no child support since we get 100 percent equal time, but if there was it would be TO ME. (I'm legally blind).

These are fair points I will bring up for discussion. I think you are right.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
