No problem! Sorry, I don't know any from a fem gay POV.

Not homosexuality but if you're looking for books on masculinity written by a gay man, you can check out Jack Donovan. His "The Way of Men" gets mentioned quite a lot in RP book recommendations.

Here Be Dragons: The Psychological Problem, Cause & Cure by Dr. Manuel Smith. I am reading it currently and it is available here From the book: To really understand what you are dealing with when you try to resolve your psychological problem, it is important that you know what is necessary to train a dog, fall in love, and brainwash someone because all follow the same specific process you can recognize when you become psychologically troubled. The book is basically on how we create a psychologic…

Thanks for replying! I use active listening and rapport but I have trouble being authentic and would many times just say things to please the other person. I realized I lack assertiveness/self esteem and it has really affected me to the point I don't like myself or appreciate anything I do. So I am working on that right now. Teasing/Flirting is something I need to get better with. Sometimes I say something and I feel the statement is very mean/rude. Its usually when I force it out instead of it …

Yo dude, its really awesome that you mentored someone. I think most guys would learn better with a mentor, but not everyone has the money to hire one. Would you please share the conversation blueprint with us?

Was thinking something similar recently and figured its not a big number for anyone actually. 5 max. I have 3. The oldest friendship in that is 10 years old and youngest is 6 (I'm 25). While improving on my social skills over the years has definitely helped me be friends with all kinds of people but the truth is we only form close friendships with people very similar to us in beliefs and background (for better or worse). Those don't come along everyday.

Yeah my bad, didn't think there'd be cameras in hospitals.

Man i dunno, I'd have done the same. Just for appearances. I mean what's the alternative? Rats and bats are easy to dismiss. Things like this, she'd go off the next day telling everyone that she got raped and you know how easy these things spread. Soon the news covers it and the hospital can be shut down. I mean it's pretty shit but can anyone tell a better way of handling these things? Ofcourse don't suggest that'd women shouldn't be this messed up in the first place :P

Yes, not "RP" in terms of teachings but very masculine works of fiction for sure.

Season 2 was quite RP. I felt it was also more grounded in reality than season 1. The main characters are quite good. Broken, beaten and flawed. Not really full of RP gems as such but just shows how the world can be for a lone man.

It used to be my favourite movie because my bp mind misinterpreted it. But now I see, it was a great lesson in disguise, except that if people are like my old self, they ain't gonna get it. Love how the guy gives up his career as an "artist" and focuses on his true calling. That's pretty RP. He recognized that what he had been doing till that point was a sham and keeps feeding his beta-ness.

Hey, so I read The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber and it was very red pilled. One thing I loved about it was how it is not a "trp fantasy" like another guy here described. It's a journey (albeit short) of a man who undergoes a transformation. The things both men say and do felt very real and relatable. The internal dialogue of the hunter! Man, that was really something. Hemingway really captured an alpha's mindset through his thoughts. All in all, a very good read. Thanks for recommending!

In the book Practical Female Psychology, one author mentioned how for LTR, you and your girl's sex drives must be compatible i.e if you have a low sex drive, you won't be able to handle a woman with a high sex drive (she'd be constantly bitchy, shit testing). Maybe some of these guys are like that, so they don't really mind a lower smv woman as long as she's nice to them. Or you know, men not aware of trp have just relied on universe/coincidences to find their woman. As in, they never chased gir…

That's very interesting man. Thanks for sharing. I'll try it negative visualization! Kinda analogous to gratitude practice but more freeing I'd guess.

Bro, you should've rather showed your appreciation towards your teacher later on (You can still do this btw). Unfortunately, what you did helped no one. It's okay though. Learn to pick your battles next time. Regarding the present situation, what the self defence instructor guy said makes sense. People who are saying frat guys are all talk is true. They probably don't give a shit about that girl too but yeah, you know how stupid people get when they are white knighting esp for a girl. So why tak…

Yeah I think OP should've rather complimented the teacher personally later than thrashing the girl. What he did helped no one.

Nice bro! Can you share an example? Like a situation where all your reading helped?

From what I've read, you can't do fat reduction on a specific spot. But in general, HIIT runs are excellent for fat loss. They are a part of my routine as well.

Feeling Good by Dr. David Burns. Changed my life. Excellent book on dealing with depression. Cognitive behavior therapy which is the focus of this book is rooted in Stoicism, so its also very masculine. What it did for me: Made me get off my ass and start working out for the first time in my life. Have lost 24 kgs since july 2018. Got rid of my 6 year porn addiction. Did nofap hard mode for 200 days. A better relationship with myself and the people around me. If you are depressed you know the sh…

Yeah I know that but it's just that where I'm from chicks don't agree to hang out if they met a guy outside of their regular places (college/work/neighborhood). Happened to me with two different chicks. So that's why i focussed on building comfort/rapport with this one. And I was asking how I could've handled the event I met her after she deleted me better?
/r/askTRP06/07/19 07:25 PM
1

So my next message to her was gonna be an apology plus a few things we have talked about before to reestablish comfort/rapport. But fuck it, the consensus seems let go. So I'll let go. If i see her again and our eyes meet, I'll just act nonchalant or maybe just smile depending on her body language (won't approach).
/r/askTRP06/07/19 06:07 PM
1

No I won't do it man. I didn't come here to go back to what I was gonna do. I already drafted the apology message. But my gut feeling wasn't allowing me to hit send. That's why I came here. That is what texts are for so your stupid ass doesnt send some stupid memes. I know man but I lost 2 girls because I asked them to hang out directly from initial few texts. Girls here don't just get ready to hang out if they met a guy outside of their regular places (college/work/neighborhood). Or maybe I cou…

for 1 month 1 week tbh you have oneitis Hmm I think you know that you have to skip this one chance Yeah man Sorry for asking more but what could I've done differently when I saw her the second time? How did I handle the situation? Please read Edit 2 as well in my post.
/r/askTRP06/07/19 05:44 PM

Just take it on the chin and learn from it. Yeah, the consensus seems to be that. What could I have done differently when i saw her again? Btw she had contacted me from an alternative number. And changed her profile picture everyday that we talked. When i fucked up, she deleted her WhatsApp account.

Yeah that's what I feared. Didn't wanna come across as that.

Awesome advice man! I'm not OP but thank you. What you said can be applied to a lot of situations. And she may become normal again. Like the other guy said that this maybe just a phase. Good luck OP!

Hey bro, Day 156 of NoFap here. Took me around 5 years to get this streak. Previous highest was 60 days back in 2015. So you can believe me when i say that i was addicted to porn and masturbation. Started reading a lot of personal development books from 2016. But the one that finally clicked was Feeling Good by Dr. David Burns. I starter reading it around March 2018. It's a book that uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help overcome depression which I suffered from too. But the book can be used b…

I don't think women are polyamorous. Men are like that because it makes sense in terms of survival to species to impregnate as many females as possible. For the females it would be counterproductive as they can only reproduce to a limit so having kids from multiple alphas will be life risking. Also the identity of the father becomes ambiguous and men won't generally raise another man's kid (especially in animal kingdom)

I feel that the husband has his AF/BB ratio way off. He seems like a nice guy and from what we have seen here we need to have some dark traid behavior. Women like to be treated like shit. Look at how embarrassed she is while describing her lover. She won't date him. She gets her asshole tingles quota fulfilled by him while the hubby is the 50/50 AF/BB guy. The importance of 80/20 is what this is.

'Once you're a parent, you're the ghost of your children's future.' - Cooper, Interstellar My only female friend told me a while ago that when she has kids she's going to stop working to raise them till they are atleast 10-12 year old. I asked her why so she told me that she and her elder brother had to do everything by themselves when their mother and father would be out to work. While this made them independent, there are a lot of things she feels to be missing from her childhood and doesn't w…
