No, I do sometimes question if there is something fundamentally wrong with me due to being exposed to a tweet where someone asked "what is wrong with men?" after showing crime statistics when I was about 13 or a 14 years old though. Funilly enough, entertaining a kinda of a "nothing matters and this all pointless" stance helps to cope with that a bit, I think that my dislike for social interaction (in person) will help a lot if I ever develop a complex like the one you mentioned.

I don't know how to answer that either, but keep in mind that the men who commit these crimes are a very very tiny minority of men (and that the judicial system doesn't gives the same treatment to women when they do the same crimes). When you control for socieconomic factors do the vast majority of men remain peaceful and more likely of protecting you than attacking you? If yes wouldn't that prove that men are inherently more protective than aggresive?
