I believe it's a combination of things. You're body language is very important, head down, eyes to the ground, straight faced and closing you're body off and you will appear as someone who doesn't want to bothered. Head up, smiling, looking everyone in the eyes and an open body, taking up space. Will be more inviting. You're mood is very important as well, it ultimately will effect you're body language for one.
