She doesn't even say how she acted on the date and the only info she offers is: "I think I'm attractive." Can't even ask for help correctly.

It's basically like Indeed job postings where you can apply without meeting most of their criteria and still hear back and get a job anyways. You should look up that video of the guy with a tumor for a face, and remind yourself that you're grateful to not be him. It might suit your nature to go look up and look at all the people in the world less fortunate than yourself then maybe reality will sink in and you'll realize you don't have it so bad. No it doesn't happen like that. A lot of the time I'm in a situation where I'll be interacting with someone on a weekly basis and after talking for a while one of us will decide to establish some means of communication with the other. Sometimes it only takes one conversation for that to happen though, depends on the flow of the conversation. I guess no different than any type of human interaction. It's probably becoming a bit harder these days since the art of in-person interaction has been on the decline. But you don't need a large social circle in order to have lifelong friends. Look to develop a few close friends. For instance, I have several close friends but they each exist in their own pocket universe for me. I don't believe that all these girls whose profiles clearly reveal them to be idiots are all in possession of advanced degrees.

So what happens in 18 years when the kid moves out? Is her dating identity still going to be defined by some appendage that's no longer there?

Another good part of that episode is when Herb hypes Homer up to go talk to the scientists, and Homer just runs into their laboratory screaming and flailing his arms. This has some of the best clips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPc-VEqBPHI

Any guidance you can give if I wanted to explore creative writing for money?

Well I was thinking more of all the videos I've seen of women going to these events. I always wonder about the circumstances and communication that's required for organizing and arranging these sort of things. Is the procedure for a woman getting gangbanged by 20 people the same as the one you outlined? Or are those cases of people just getting intoxicated at parties. The whole world is kind of gross and everyone is crazy.

But her offer of chasing someone for no reason or foreseeable payoff was so enticing! Anyone with a little bit of pride won't be chasing anybody. How about people just be cool and socialize.

This is a lot deeper and more well written than anything any of them wrote, you're giving them too much credit. All the stories were literally 3 pages of: "And then I cried again for no reason because I liked him but couldn't tell him because whatever." Meanwhile I was writing allegorical stories with insightful social commentary and satire, and I don't go to school for writing.

Interesting, I guess there are communities and events for anything. Sounds like it's organized just like any other innocent community event. I figured that a bunch of people in cloaks met in secret somewhere to discuss where they would hold their sex parties.

I took a creative writing class in college recently, we had workshops where we had to read each other's poems and short stories. Every single girl in the class wrote about dating/relationships for all of their stories. I was actually flabbergasted that none of them had anything else to talk about. It was the soppiest bunch of dribble I've ever had to read, and poorly written on top of it. I even pointed out the nature of their writing to the entire class one day because it kind of had to be said…

Not that I'm interested in attending, but how does one arrange going to a "gloryhole marathon"? I doubt that those are publicly announced community events.

Why don't people know how to talk.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
