Eh...A skinny fat guy can get in pretty great shape in 6 months, he just has to really throw himself at it. The thing is, when you are super skinny, or super fat, you can basically ignore the "you can't gain muscle on a deficit advice" for a number of months. If you're both skinny and fat, your 6 months will be about equivalent to 12-18 months for someone who is already in okay shape.

It's honestly not that hard. Well...maybe that's not the right way to put it. It's pretty achievable. I was doing 21 minute 5ks at 220, and that was after just a few months of training and carrying quite a bit of non-functional mass.

Uhhh...are you sure you meant to reply to my post? Because I literally advocated for becoming post-apocalyptic warlords for the lulz

For our own benefit, of course. We could make like the post-Roman Europeans and carve out tiny little fiefdoms for ourselves and slowly stitch it all together again. Admit it, it sounds fun, even if we're likely poorly suited for it.

If you're going to celebrate the death of marriage 1.0, at least give your long lives to uncommitted sex.

They were both built on the rejection of divine right, which was, despite our modern sensibilities, a nearly universal sentiment at the time. To claim that the French Revolution and the American Revolution weren't fundamentally philosophically connected just because there isn't a single overarching book they both cited is disingenuous.

Women follow alphas, enough alphas with RP-ish mindset and we have a say in global politics. Even better, if enough non-RP men understand that "feminism is a shit test on personal level too" (thus freeing their dependancy on one woman, be it oneitis, gf or wife) - we will have a shift in politics b/c independency from women for beta is the first step into full blown political-RP. I feel that we already have adequate alphas, but we don't have adequate organization or social capital.

Mindfulness has helped me a lot. I remind myself that everybody behind the scenes is also mortal, and they also die. Nobody is truly in control, although some are transiently more in control than others. The world is chaos and pain, and that applies to your enemies just as much as it does to you. Working on yourself emotionally, socially, physically, and so on that you find life bearable, meaningful, and worthy is the starting point. Along the way you may end up with opportunities to do even bet…

I wonder how much of Gen Z's backlash is a result of early reaction to modern divorce culture etc. I'll be very interested in seeing how the next generation turns out. I feel like Gen Z is a portend of the backlash, and Gen Alpha will be the real deal.

They want them. Just not, you know, sexually. Imagine you could have a socially presentable woman that you weren't attracted to who would just work, buy shit, do housework, and whatever else for you. Even if that's not something you'd personally enjoy -- I imagine you can see the appeal.

IMO, even worrying that much about how these things impacts your dealings with women is missing out on how awesome it is for you. I love having a shitton more money. I have a huge house in a great location to myself, I have a dog, I have a brand new car, and I'm still saving lots of money. Fuck women and their desire for luxury apartments; more money is nice for me. Letting women be a side effect is the way to go. IMO, top 20% is also not really high enough to get serious results in online dating due to how efficient they are. I've been in markets where I was the 80th percentile and in markets where I was the 95th percentile. The 95th percentile was incomparably better on Tinder. IRL, the difference was much less extreme.

The second best lay I ever had was a shy, nerdy 23-year-old virgin. Dear God, she was amazing. Mostly massively enthusiastic and eager to please, but that goes a long way, of course. Looking back, I'd say overall the virgins I fucked were above average in terms of how good they were as lays, although generally not anywhere near her level. None of them were bad lays per se.

Many of them are contextual. I've been with 33 or 34 women -- I'm finally losing count -- but I haven't touched a woman in almost a year. In that last year, I've almost doubled my real income and added +50 to pretty much all of my lifts. I've also just been fucking annoyed with women and had enough sex stored up in my hump to last me a few months. Looking up close, fairly MGTOW. Big picture, pretty engaged with women. Dang, when you realize that the top 20% is reachable with 2 chinups. Then again, the notion that the top 20% is what matters is kind of an overly inclusive fantasy. In my experience, they tend to go to the top 5% or so.

That’s exactly what the feminists have conditioned you to think. Men meeting together without women and enjoying each other’s company is “gay, not that there’s anything wrong with that”. In reality, platonic male friendships are among the most pure bonds on this Earth.

Pretty sure my last company will die to SJWs. At least 10% of the office, mostly high-achievers, left after round after round of SJW bullshit. Including myself. Meanwhile, the diversity hires continue pile up. And I know at least one extremely critical manager there is just waiting for his green card to finish processing before he leaves, too. IMO, it’s good, in a way; they’re teaching us how to identify and fight them before we start our own business.

Poisoning the well, I see. Interesting to see that more and more TRPers and using powertalk against the broader male self-improvement community to trick them into getting lazy. Bro, there are not diminishing returns to working on yourself. There are accelerating returns to working on yourself. You don't "need" to do anything, but man, you can do a lot...if you stop worrying about conserving effort and energy, and start thinking about doing as much as you can.

I see this, too. I'm figuring it out. It feels like there's nowhere left to go where I won't be at risk of being utterly fucked in the ass. I'm considering starting a business catering to this growing right wing backlash. Others must be, as well. It's only a matter of time.

Give up, 100% give up, on saving the West. Instead, focus on cannibalizing the West-as-it-is, and building small pockets of the West-as-it-could-be. If you're in the fortress now, sneak supplies out into the wilderness to the exiles and help them at least build a pallisade. When the well is finally poisoned and the gates are finally being battered, sneak out through the sewer and hope you chose the right friends.

The question is, who has the mechanisms of power? The fringe loonies, or the less-insane rank and file? Stuff that I and every other mainstream liberal thought was batshit insane just 10 years ago is now absolutely mandatory if you don't want to me thrown out of the party. Stuff that every mainstream liberal thinks is insane today will be absolutely mandatory ten years from now. The left follows its extremists, and always pushes further left. The reason why is pretty simple: The left relies on "…

As an older dude, I started using emojis and their effectiveness blew my fucking mind. They definitely didn't work when I was 20. At 30, still using them on 20 year olds, they work wonders. My hypothesis is that it's either a generational thing or an overall culture shift.

Being alone is the shit. No one is burdening you. You can focus on what you care about. You don’t have to worry about other people’s opinions or needs. I did the social butterfly thing for a few years, but once I stopped needing others for validation, I’ve spent almost all of my free time alone and I LOVE it. I can socialize in Valhalla.

It’s too hard, you can express the same idea from an amused and in-control frame. That said, her being both pissed and apologetic is actually GREAT for you. Strong emotions are crack for girls. But for a more even keeled response, “Babe, are you coming or not? Figure it out then stop changing your mind” if you’re pretty indifferent. Or, if you’re not indifferent, you can say it like it is: “That girl is a bad news, and it looks pretty bad when you’re skipping out on plans to visit with me and my…

For me, the answer was building up reference experiences, and just getting exhausted with any insecurities I had. After you have enough positive experiences, enough evidence of your own excellence, you just stop worrying about the negative ones. The other side of that is that being worried emotionally wears you out. Eventually, I just kind of stopped doing the thing that wore me out, and paid attention to the massive upside of being me every day.

I have a huge fetish for denying women orgasms and making them give unreciprocated blowjobs all the time, and I fear men like you. I turn them on and keep it sexy for them - heavy BDS elements, teasing, etc. But Jesus, they’re going to be fish in a barrel if a solid guy isolates them. Honestly, when I hear stories like this, it just makes me think that we Westwrn men deserve our shitty societies. All we have to do is work out, hold frame, be social, and provide. Collectively, we are failing. I’m GLAD most of us won’t reproduce, or will do so at far below replacement. Something is seriously wrong with most men here - genetic, cultural, whatever. The quicker it’s weeded out, the better.

The reality is way more complex than that. Women are built to want to fuck, sure. But some people have birth defects from vaginismus to hormonal problems. Some people feel insanely guilty about sex. Some people have abnormally high disgust reactions. It goes on and on. The mindset of "all women always want to fuck" is just a mental tool to put yourself in the zone to pick up women, or shock yourself out of BP thinking. It's not an actual hard and fast objective rule.
