I lived with my parents until I was 24 and I managed to date. I noticed that the women I knew *also* lived with their parents but we didn't judge each other. Glass houses and all that. If you are on your own at 23 or 24 there are good odds that you are either in a decent paying job or are driven enough to be out of your parents home that you are willing to sacrifice to do so. I also tend to notice that that attitude is self-reinforcing. If everyone does it, why shouldn't it?
