Honestly I'd thank them and make sure your behaviour is alpha and not be worried about it. They approached you because they thought you were physically appealing. How is that a problem? Just don't let it throw you off your game and get you into a "cute little boy" mindset and it's fine. I get girls approaching me and calling me hot/cute/good looking, and while I can't claim to have done a scientific study, I'd say the specific adjective they choose really isn't a big deal in terms of where thing…

It's not necessarily racist. I wouldn't describe myself as racist in the slightest, but I definitely find myself most often attracted to other white people. I have absolutely no problem talking to or being friends with coloured individuals. I'm just less likely to find them sexually attractive. That's not racist. It's just how I am attracted to other people. Granted I would never say "sorry, you're black" to anyone, so this chick could just be a scumbag, but I don't think it's fair to go from "i…

The fuck? "What is your costume supposed to be?" isn't asking for help from a stranger. It's the less-gay version of "Nice sweater, where'd you get it?".

Because he is going to say "okay cool thanks" and leave after she answers.

Yes, this is more or less true, and has been the opinion of just about everyone in the community since its inception.

Honestly in that type of situation, winning the group over is probably the best first step. Should give you a better idea of personalities and the like, which I would suggest to be a much better indicator of who's up for what than a guess based on looks.

I don't disagree. I just don't think that's really helpful in the long run.

What are you looking for, sex, or a long, fulfilling relationship? If it's the former, game on. If it's the latter, you're right, approach with caution. If she's insisting he isn't her boyfriend, I'd say you're fine to go for sex. I'd be cautious about anything more than a casual relationship, given her history with this guy.

More or less awkward than the one in the OP? It's a possible outcome, but if it happens, it... happens, and you move on with your life.

Reading comprehension please. "In all seriousness, you have to understand that the reasons why some women are reluctant to be blunt about this often apply to men as well." I guarantee you this guy didn't give her tons of warmth and reception and sexual interest and then just say "nevermind"! I understand that attraction can cloud judgement, but quite frankly the best way to avoid this type of situation isn't to rely on men/women not doing shit like this, but to learn what it looks like and how t…

So whats the verdict on walking girls home? Do it, it's not a shit test, she's asking to spend time with you. If she's asking for a ride home - that's different.

Additional pro-tip for engaging a girl with a laptop/at a computer/with a wall plug and a phone cable, if you prefer a less direct approach: "My phones dead, can I borrow your charger for a bit?" Boom, you're in. You were waiting for a text from a friend for details on a meet up, and your scumbag phone died. Excuse to sit down and talk her up for 5 minutes, test the waters. If it's going well, "didn't get it yet, don't you hate it when people aren't punctual?", chat some more, # close. If it's n…

I do something similar to this, but it's not quite as long winded. I'll just sit down and be like "Do you ever think it's funny when people sit down on the bus, they do their best to never have to actually talk to anyone? Like, until there's someone in every set of seats nobody ever doubles up?" I might do something like this and if she seems interested go into that longer one above, but it's a great way to meet people on public transit or in classrooms as they're filling up or what have you.

I don't see how you can get muscled out of a like that without having allowed for it to happen. If the dude literally stands in front of you, you're well within your rights to tap him on the shoulder and ask him to move. Maybe wait a couples seconds, catch the girls eye if you can, give her a knowing smirk, raise and eyebrow, then tap him. If he edged you out slowly and subtly in a way which made that not really an option, it means you ****ed up along the way and let him push you out. Force him …

Dear Women, Take a hint. Sincerely, Men. Taste of your own medicine hurts, don't it? In all seriousness, you have to understand that the reasons why some women are reluctant to be blunt about this often apply to men as well. I know that I, for example, will rarely tell someone "sorry, not interested" unless she asks me if I am. I won't go on dates or anything like that either, so I guess I'm not quite as bad as the guy in your story.

Oh, it's not something I've ever done. I'm just comparing not horny me to is horny me.

This is pretty twisted tbqh. My normal solution is to remind myself that I'm awesome and that she's waiting for an interesting new guy to come into her life. And also to remind myself that girls don't generally fly off the handle and beat the **** out of guys who botch an approach. Never considered using porn for this. I'll concede that horniness can make me approach more, but mostly due to lowering standards than actually improving confidence.

Depends how long ago it was. If it was fairly recent I'll just smile and nod. If we end up sitting nearby or something I'd probably have idle conversation. If it's been a while, I might go in again, particularly if she had a boyfriend or something when I tried the first time.

I don't know if that would be more or less intrusive than the annoying sounds my phone makes..

Seems to me like you've got two scenarios: (1) go all in and drop the "act" in one go, or (2) keep it up at all times. I think it's pretty clear the correct answer is to migrate from one to the other. Doing that just takes practice. The way I see it is that a large part of the "act" is just there as insurance - saving face if things go south, seeming natural, etc. Ultimately the best way to deal with women is treating them as people, and I think a that's basically what the "act" speak to in a lo…
