You're a tool. I don't find facts condescending. I find people who continue to explain things even after they aren't applicable to be condescending. This wasn't fucking applicable to an emergency situation. You don't get that, and I can't convince you, so I'm done. It's sad that you're determined to make it so it looks like "stupid cunt got powned" when neither of them were offering anything substantially useful to anyone in the middle of a hurricane with no way to charge their phone.

Wow. I never said he was an asshole. My response to his tweets has nothing to do with his fucking gender. This wasn't "mansplaining", this was plain and simple useless condescension. I said he wasn't helpful in that situation and he wasn't. You're what's unbelievable.

I'm not missing your point. Like we both said: be prepared. Is it dumb not to be prepared? Yes. Will everyone actually prepare? No. Do people who neglected to prepare still need short term fixes in an emergency? Yes. Yes, they do.

You've obviously never prepared for a hurricane. They sell out of a few things right away: water, generators, canned food, bread, and these USB charging stations. In Houston, Went out 4 days before Harvey hit. The stores, gas stations, Walmart, were already sold out of most if not all of those things. By the time you know you need it, if you didn't already have it, it's too fucking late. In addition, most people have to work right up until the storm hits. You would have to drive to several store…

Holy generalization Batman. "It's almost like women are more interested in forming empathetic relationships, not looking for ways to use others for personal gain..." Putting people in boxes like that hurts everyone. You wouldn't like it if someone implied that men can't be great single dads or nurses, or that they didn't value their personal relationships the same way that women do. That's one of the points of this sub... If you play into that trap, you're just as bad as the feminists that you h…

Yeah, having been through Harvey, by the time you know it's going to hit you, you can't get a USB power pack if your life depended on it. Next day delivery is a no-go. The efficiency of the charge isn't what matters, it's the ability to make one or two more calls if you really need it.

Dude. There are dragons. And an army of dead people. And a magical wall. One unrealistic little girl isn't something to get worked up over in a fantasy series...

Yeah, I'm not overthinking and nobody's feelings are hurt. I'm not replying to the post, I'm replying to the person above me who thought it was extra funny that there was a low effort insult thrown in. It's not funny, it's just stupid imo.

Looking for a date does not make a woman a whore.

Generally, yes. If she is as fat as he says she is, it's a central part of his statements. It's also true if we are to trust him. My issue with his use of "whore" is that it's become a very general female insult in the same way that "cuck" has become a very generic male insult. It just makes me think that it must be novel to the person using it since it has no meaning in this context.

Yeah, I still don't get how it's funny. I wouldn't find "shit" in a scientific review to be funny either. But different strokes and all that. Is something supposed to be funny just because it's out of place? I get situational humor most of the time, but I don't get this. Did this guy call her a whore just to be funny? Or is everyone just laughing at him?

She's fat and she's looking to date this clearly gay guy.

Yeah, because calling women "whore" is so damn funny... I agree with everything he said except for that. It's completely unrelated to her comment. She may be dumb, she may be attention seeking, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't sling a bunch of dick, so she is not a whore. It's like cuck. Overused and fucking annoying.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
