I think about this all the time! Nature doesn’t lie. We have what they want, and they can’t get it without winning us over. It’s just biology, boys.

‘’Oh yeah? Well it’s jUsT BiOLoGy for feeeeemales to prefer taller mates.” Completely tracks with their pseudo bio-evolutionary sexism, and yet they’d never accept it.

The ED by 30 thing is so real. Every man over 30 I’ve had the misfortune of hooking up with has had trouble getting hard. It’s pretty sad. When it happens I’m like “oh you watch porn don’t you?” and since it’s a vulnerable moment, he’ll generally be honest and admit that yes, he watches porn regularly and acknowledge yeah, it probably has something to do with his inability to get hard. That’s when I’m like “ok bye, good luck with your penis I guess” and bounce. Cue shocked pikachu face when I’m …

So “go ahead and watch porn if you like but I won’t date you if you watch porn” is controlling, but “you have to date me even if I watch porn and you find porn morally repugnant” isn’t controlling? That’s Reddit for you, always mistaking “setting boundaries” for “being controlling”

They’re either covering up their lack of chin, or the fact that they have too many chins. All I know is the number of chins under a beard like that definitely does not equal ‘one’

Back in my dating days, beards like this were automatic swipe left. As if I want to date some chinless wonder hiding his non-existent jawline with what basically amounts to a sponge soaking up bacteria and saliva. Disgusting. A little well trimmed and groomed facial hair is fine if it looks neat and clean but these men all look like rejected ZZ Top impersonators. And what the fuck is up with cocked eyebrow look? Do they think they’re Megamind or something?

God(dess) grant me the self confidence to go into the middle of a public area, set up a tripod, and film myself dancing and freestyle singing. I mean this unironically. This is basically me in my kitchen alone so why shouldn’t it also be me out in the world, and on the internet? Why not? Bless this 2021 inspiration ❤️

Right? Holy shit. When I was a teen I can’t image how I would have reacted to a 30yo telling me every boy I was interested in was completely worthless and to simply focus on my studies and my goals.

It’s very common behavior from creepy doormen at bars where I live. They’re losers who know it’s the most female attention they’ll ever get from young attractive women on their nights out. It’s gross how they get off on it. Alternatively, some bouncers are absolute angels and you really can’t tell just by looking at them. Sometimes it’s the scary looking ones who turn out to be awesome at protecting women and the younger cuter ones who are complete creeps. You never know except by how they talk …

If he’s so worried about his wife bitching about all the things he was supposed to do, why the fuck doesn’t he just DO them then? He says he just works and then attempts to sleep. So who is taking care of his child? Who is feeding them? Who is keeping the house in order? And he has the nerve to bitch about it. If his job is so shitty and doesn’t pay him enough to have a relaxing lifestyle, then why the hell did he drag a wife and child into his inadequacy? He should have worked on himself and hi…

Not quite. I’ve always felt like men - for the most part - don’t hold up their side of the bargain in relationship. They don’t pull their weight and expect women to do a lot of their shit for them. But then I’ve always kind of fallen for gaslighting rationalizations about why “it’s okay for men to be like that” and “men and women are just different” and just total BS about how we need to expect less from men if we want to keep them happy. I would notice that boyfriends expected nice birthday pre…

People just love watching women get hurt. That’s why so much of modern entertainment (tv, movies, video games) always involves killing off the female characters and then having the male characters react.

Only date a gamer if you want to constantly be asking why important things didn’t get done, only to be told he “didn’t have time.” Then he whines when you point out that he spends MINIMUM two hours on videogames every single day without exception and would absolutely have time to do basic life tasks if he cut down on that time a little. “Whyyyyyyy are you trying to CONTROL meeeee? Am I the only one disturbed by “if you don’t want to risk her bailing just tell her after” ??? That's literally so rapey, like... He's acknowledging the fact that she wouldn't consent to sex if he were honest about his intentions, so he's saying to deny her the ability to grant informed consent. “get her to consent to sex before she is aware of factors that would lead her to withdraw consent. It’s totally not rape bro!!”

This is so immature. If you’re going to mock your bride and your marriage, don’t even get married. I’m thankful my wedding day was all about celebrating our love and how happy we were to be joining our lives together. It wasn’t all boring and solemn, like, we definitely partied hard at the reception with all our friends and family. but the ceremony itself was serious (the happy type of serious!) and it would have been so offensive to me to make a joke out of it. Honestly if a woman is the ex of a crazy partner I absolutely believe her and would never hold that against her. Victim-blaming is not cool. However when men claim their ex gf is “crazy” it’s usually just code for “she had basic human needs and emotions, and called me out on my shit at least one time.”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/20 07:47 PM

This is so true. Unlike what movies would have men believe, women don’t just do that stuff all willy nilly. A man has to do or say something truly heinous (usually threatening or at least predatory) to receive a slap or drink in the face.

How many times have those boys called that woman slurs behind her back or to her face, and I bet her husband hasn’t even defended her. I have seen how groups of male friends talk about when one of them gets a partner. They all talk shit about her and try to convince him to leave her. Especially dudes like this who insist they have to go out drinking and partying together every single weekend no matter what, well past the age that’s acceptable. I bet none of those other guys have girlfriends.

This is what happens when sex education is banned or tightly censored. This is how you end up with a generation of adults who don’t know basic anatomy, and don’t know how arousal works.

Guys get so creative with their “negs” sometimes. “You know, I’m usually attracted to classically beautiful women but there’s just something so unique about you that I’m attracted to.” “It’s so cool that you’re not embarrassed to wear such a bold ensemble out of the house! You just don’t give a damn what anybody thinks, do you? I like that about you.” “You’re not like other girls.” (This one is the worst because it’s like, who are you negging? Me or other girls? Either way it’s a dig.)

Interesting perspective. I’m thirty and not a single man I’ve dated has ever asked me mine, so I figured it’s not that important to them. And no they did not all (or probably any of them) fit into the “Chad” category. Plenty of normal guys, even some who were a lot less experienced, and none of them ever asked.

The advice is good, yes, but I do think it’s kind of trashy to wear a shirt with swearing all over it out in public. I used to work at this eDgY pizza parlor where our shirts said “F**K” on them (with asterisks) and people were constantly getting upset when I’d show up at their home or their kids school for pizza deliveries with even a censored profanity on my shirt. Thankfully the owner changed the shirt when he realized it was pissing off paying customers.

Boom. Exactly. Meeting for coffee is something I’d do with a classmate if we had a group assignment to discuss. It’s not a setting where I’m going to be swept off my feet romantically. We say this plainly here, and they could take it as free advice. But no, they want to keep doing coffee “dates” and then being shocked and blaming us when it doesn’t work out for them. Like five seconds of lurking shows that a lot of what we talk about is trying to rid LVM from our lives, and filter LVM out of all the men trying to get our attention. We aren’t incels by any stretch of the imagination. Those of us who are celibate know we could be sexually active at any time because (and say it with me ladies) Dick is Abundant and of Low Value.

It’s disgusting when adults sexualize innocent childish behavior. I remember how gross it felt when I was a child and my parents/aunties/babysitters would say things like “she’s such a flirt!” and shit like that, just for... existing, i guess? Being a carefree child and laughing? Nope, not allowed. We are all taught early that we can’t just be carefree children, we must check our own behavior constantly for how it looks to others.

What I liked about the show’s sexism is how often it was shown in a way that is obviously not meant for the viewer to sympathize with. Like how Peggy is treated early in the show, and we see it all from her point of view, and since the viewer sympathizes with her it is clearly marked for the viewer “this is bad” when it happens.

Kind of off topic but it’s also ridiculous to me that doctors refuse to sterilize women who don’t want kids. In a society where abortion rights are under attack and everyone’s always yelling about how much abortion there is, why not sterilize women who want it?? When my husband wanted a vasectomy he was immediately granted one, no questions asked, but at age 30 I still can’t get a doctor agree to my sterilization.

The only non-LVM in the show is maybe the blonde guy with the eyepatch (the LA Noire mocap guy) but I suspect it’s only because he doesn’t get enough screen time to show him being LV like all the other guys on that show. I totally don’t mean this in an arguing way, but who is the HVM? Even the more likable characters like John Slattery still cheat on their wives and act racists/sexist. No individual “deserves” love from anyone. No one is entitled to having someone love them. Adding the word “Black” to this statement is a tricky way of trying to make anyone who disagrees sound racist, so let me be clear. No individual - regardless of gender or race - is entitled to anyone else’s love and affection just for existing. To say otherwise is a dangerous mindset, and a slippery slope towards coercion and manipulation.

‘Not all men are like that’ is such a stupid thing to say when discussing a woman’s risk of being attacked. No, plenty of men aren’t ‘like that’ but it only takes one man one time to attack a woman. There only needs to be one crazed lunatic about for women to feel unsafe, and there’s always at least one out there somewhere! Lovefool I was listening to this song yesterday while cleaning up, and the lyrics are written from an extreme pickme point of view... but it’s actually slightly FDS-adjacent in the fact that it’s obviously supposed to be kind of satirical. Thank you for saying this, I came to make basically this exact same comment. She literally has zero agency in her life and she’s doing everything she can to get out from under the thumb of the LVM who legally control her life. Exactly. Men buying us drinks strokes their egos and who says we even want a drink from them? They use it to show off and try to lower our defenses, then they act like we owe them something. How in the hell this “free drinks” thing is considered a major form of “female privilege” is beyond me. “Female privilege is strangers trying to force alcohol on you to get you drunk and make you pay attention to them.”

I guess if a hobby isn’t shooting guns, watching porn, or playing 4+ hours daily of video games (but only the exact type he likes) then it’s just a stupid women’s hobby. I like how all sewing, everything in the kitchen, and all crafts = worthless. And no alternatives given for what activities would be more acceptable either. If he’s looking for women with specific hobbies he likes, he needs to go look in the scene of those specific hobbies. Like, odds are you’re not going to organically stumble …

Very privileged, yes. There are also legit reasons why some people can’t participate, and those reasons are by design. Wages have been stagnating for decades despite increasing inflation AND increased worker productivity over those same decades. People are kept desperate, and the smallest emergency can mean losing their house or being unable to feed their kids. People in such precarious situations don’t have much agency and can’t take risks, which creates very obedient worker bees.

Shaving your legs, wearing makeup, submitting to BDSM, prostituting yourself - it’s all “empowering” according to liberal feminism. Notice men ever being told what’s “empowering” for them? Btw here at FDS we don’t think we are entitled to anything from anyone. We make our own happiness for ourselves in our lives, on our own. If someone wants to join in our happiness, we have high expectations that they’ll prove their worthiness before we let them into our lives. That’s not entitlement. Entitlement would be a single woman crying that no man has bought her a meal, like she can’t figure out how to eat on her own. We would call a girl like that a pickme in here and dunk on her for act…

I think it’s okay if he has asked her what she thinks of public proposals, if she says she likes them and would want one for herself someday. Maybe it’s immature, but some women want something a little more memorable and flashy than a private conversation over dinner. Especially if they’ve already had a conversation in private confirming they both want to get married, and the proposal is more just to have a big “pop the question” ring moment.

I would ALWAYS tell. This has bitten me in the ass when the pickme flips out and kills the messenger. But I cannot help it. I can’t see a woman getting played by a man and not speak up. Since outsiders like to focus on the “men should pay on dates” tenet of this dub, I’ll focus on that to further illustrate another way that FDS is nothing like PUA. If we acted like PUA in here, the “men pay on dates” thing would just be part of our plan. Yes, I mean, this is pretty crass but, two things are true: -Men like to claim “busy” for why they don’t text back. -Men usually bring their phone to the toilet. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to receive toilet texts. I’m just saying, if both these statements are true then something just isn’t adding up. Just wanted to drop this link to the mini documentary about this song (it’s vice, and very male, but still pretty interesting.) the singer Rick Rock really did feel that way on the song, and to this day he’s embarrassed about what a scummy song it is. It’s actually kind of funny to hear him talk about being embarrassed to be singing on a track like that. Highly recommend this video if you’re a fan of the song (which, full guilty pleasure, I kinda am... just for the childhood nostalgia if anythin…

Total guilty pleasure song, I will still belt that shit out. The funniest part of that song is how ashamed Rick Rock is of the lyrics. I watched this mini documentary on the song and they discuss how totally scummy the lyrics are. Total fuckboys, of course, but as a (critical) fan of the music industry I found the mini doc fascinating... very male though. Very ashamed to admit I still consider this song a total bop, as disgusting as the lyrics are. My brain chooses to process it as satire, like …

Even Sarah Silverman - the queen of “haha look how cute it is when I’m gross” - grew out of that nonsense years ago.

I wish but I’m afraid of getting this subreddit shut down or quarantined for “brigading.” I wish Reddit policies were more friendly towards rescue missions like this.

“Girl, our spiritual connection is so strong and so deep, it shakes me to my core. Our physical connection is so passionate, you have imprinted on my very soul... anyway, let’s just keep things casual.” -spiritual fuckboys

He is actually still to this day (six years later) a single lonely loser trying to pick up on younger chicks for casual relationships, with very little success. When they do go for it, they (like me) dump him quickly. I only know this because he works for the same company as a lot of my family members who occasionally tell tales of what a loser he still is. It’s petty I know but he’s just too easy to roast. Edit: However, what you’re saying is sooo common!! I do know a different dude (my friend’…

FDS is the best, RA is the worst. RA posts are like: “my (20F) husband (55M) always cheats on me, and then yesterday he killed my cat and stole $50k from my bank account to spend on gambling and hookers. What should I do? Please don’t suggest breaking up because other than the problems I mentioned here, he’s actually the best husband ever.” RA comments are like: “You just need to communicate more.”

I would have probably fallen for a scam like that as a teenager too. (I was super dumb.) The flattery of someone wanting to sPiRiTuAlLy MaRrY her outweighs the logic of the situation.

Ewww... I mean at least he can probably give them more than $150 each but still, fucking trashy and gross to be dropping babies all over the place. Wear a damn condom or something! I hate his voice. I’ve only heard him on the song King’s Dead which is an awesome song before and after his feature, but his shitty feature is so bad it kinda ruins the whole song.

Boys have been pulling this trick for decades, nay, centuries!! I really hope she doesn’t fall for this shit. She’s 19. She has her whole life ahead of her. She’s not even out of college yet. I remember how I was at that age and I did not understand the world yet, let alone dating and power dynamics or even the concept of HV/LV relationships. She doesn’t realize how much better she could demand than this pathetic scrote.

Lmao when I was 23 I dated a 42 year old guy who would constantly talk about wanting kids someday but also he “wasn’t looking for anything serious.” One day I straight up asked him how he thought he was going to have kids someday if at age 42 he still hasn’t put any effort whatsoever into finding a partner. His response was “my age doesn’t matter as long as the mom is young enough.” 🤢🤢🤮🤮 I got out of that situation with the quickness and never dated an older guy again.

One woman in the comments gave her some sound advice but it’s buried beneath a whole bunch of mansplainy comments about how “modern marriage only serves women, there’s no benefit to men, etc.” Riiiiiiiight, because men are the ones who sacrifice their bodies to create children for someone else; and men are the ones responsible for the bulk of the mental load, and the “second shift” of housework and childcare despite being expected to work a full-time job.... OH WAIT NO, silly me, that’s WOMEN I’…

Ding ding ding! You actually located the reason he even proposed! She reveals in the comments that her family raised her to not believe in sex before marriage. His “spiritual marriage” proposal is very transparently just him trying to get her to fuck him. And everyone in the comments is apparently just eating it up.

What a moron. $150 isn’t even 10% of rent where I live. The pickme ass ❤️ replies make me sick. How do these NVM find entire harem’s worth of pickmes to impregnate??

From the context clues in the conversation, it seems he is referring to women patients who insist on only being seen by woman doctors. He seems to be comparing the hypothetical woman’s choice to racism, like not wanting to have a Black doctor.

Same situation :( I have been here for months and I still sometimes have the newbie flair, and other times my comments get deleted for no flair. I clicked the link to get an 8-digit code but never heard back. I’m bummed! I love this community.

I requested an 8-digit code a few days ago and I have not received one yet. I’m totally fine with waiting, but I just wanted to make sure the delay is normal. I know I’m not extremely active in this sub all the time, but I read everything here and it has drastically changed my life for the better. I would hate to lose access.
