Thoughts on getting married (to a woman)Many modern women's expectations are higher today compared to what they expected even 10 years ago, compared to men's expectations, and compared to what is available. These are all based on my own observations and lived experiences. Additionally, census data suggests that men meeting these expectations may well be quite rare. See here. perhaps I should have made it clear these were my personal opinions as to why I am not going to marry. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 12/05/23 02:24 AM
Thoughts on getting married (to a woman)I would love to get married and have a family, but I won't get married in this legal and cultural environment. Like u/rainbowlunarian said. Legally, marriage has a lot of downsides and precious few upsides for men. Plus, most women have very high expectations, which are skewed heavily by social media. Honestly, I don't have that much to say, which that comment didn't already say. If I found someone that I wanted to settle down with. I would have the ceremony, give her a ring, and hold her as my … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 10/05/23 04:35 AM
Can the left win back men?Thank you for bringing this up. It is certainly possible for the left to start winning men back, but I think it is very unlikely. Keep in mind, I'm an American, former lefty, and now Right-ish moderate with heterodox views. The left and right are similar enough across the English speaking world that we can discuss them all together. I think the modern left has boxed themselves into a proverbial corner with extremist Feminism. They can not win men back without alienating Feminists and will contin… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/04/23 05:38 PM
Lifting injuriesI managed to pull something when lifting, of all things, a Christmas tree in a box while working retail. it really doesn't hurt me too bad day to day but if I am moving my arm around a lot (like on the job) it hurts like hell. I talked to my doctor about it and I got meds and a physical therapy prescription. He also said I basically cant work out strenuously or I will hurt myself further. I am really hoping I can work around this because I hate being a proverbial twig. | /r/askTRP | 15/09/18 05:56 PM
Lifting injuriesI currently have an impingement on my left shoulder. I going for physical therapy now that my schedule is opening up, what should I be looking for? | /r/askTRP | 15/09/18 06:32 AM

Newbie Seeking Fitness Advice. Both look great. Strength Lifter looks easier or at least more straight forward. i'm going to look in to both. Know of any way to look for decent coaches near where I live? I live in a small city so there are not any specific SS coaches nearby. Thanks the help! | /r/askTRP | 25/02/18 09:17 PM
Newbie Seeking Fitness Advice.Downloaded. I would imagine I would rather go for shape rather than pure strength, but its probably way too early for that to really matter. Thanks for the advice! | /r/askTRP | 25/02/18 09:08 PM
