0	The problem with the Child Support debate when utilizing "Pro-Choice" as reason to consider the idea of financial abortion. It isn't sex education that prevents pregnancy. Yeah, it really does. That's how people learn about safe sex. The safety net is there for poor people, not just single parents (since all poor people that are below a certain income can apply for those benefits). Just because there is a safety net doesn't mean that people will strive to be poor. Most people want to have a comfortable life which doesn't occur when you are living off of government benefits. Or more women would exercise proper care in not getting pregnant in the first place... or they would learn to earn their own money Except that a lot of places have shitty sex education, which is the real reason why lots of teenagers have sex and then the girl gets pregnant. They don't sit down and think about any potential financial issues involved with raising a child because they don't think that they will get pregnant, same with teenage boys who don't worry about child support.
