Oh come on, it's a joke. Not the funniest of jokes, but just a bit of a laugh. Let's not get all SJW about this.

No. They are certainly free to affect the mannerisms and dress of the opposite sex, and to surgically/hormonally alter themselves to take on that appearance. Plastic surgery has reached the stage where it can be hard to tell the difference from the real thing. I see no reason to be unkind to such people, so long as they don't affect my freedom of speech, or expect me to pay for their desired lifestyle. But you are who you are. Maybe we will one day have the technology to actually be able to chan…

That's effectively how it is in my country (Norway). No repayments or interest till you graduate, then 1,39%APR (IIRC).

Check out the Dalia Dippolito case- the gold standard of the crazy, murderous wife.

"Voluntary involuntary celibate" is self-contradictory. Some are certainly "volcels", others roll the dice and have sex when easily achievable and supposedly consequence-free. Although you're only one fabricated charge away...

Liberal in the Thomas Paine/John Stuart Mill sense of the word. Would probably vote centre-left, but every centre-left party in the West has turned its back on working people, and only serves middle-class leftists, and certain classes of immigrants (normally the least hard-working, least integrated ones). Until they make changes, screw those guys.

It's not the complaining that's the problem: it's the rest of society actually agreeing. I call BS on her teacher "telling the entire school". A teacher pulling that shit in Western Europe would get fired immediately. Note that teachers cannot defend themselves, because it's forbidden to comment on individual cases. "Other assumptions she faces are people presuming she has no money...and that she's single and sleeps around". 4 kids in 4 years by 2 dads? She's unlikely to be earning her own money…

Alternative viewpoint: "Women's Plus" isn't a part of the women's section, which isn't really very accepting when you think about it ;)

It's the ultimate sunk-cost fallacy: "So much has been sacrificed- we can't just quit now".

I'd rather live in a society where people like Taylor Swift can sing songs like that, but where most people - men and women - just roll their eyes at it. "I'd be the man, they'd say I'd hustled/put in all the work/They wouldn't shake their heads and question how much of this I deserve". Well, Taylor, if it wasn't for "diversity quotas", no one would question successful women!

Downside: they might feast on your dead body after you snuff it. But, we're not using it anymore, so share and share alike I guess.

"We all die alone. We endure death as once we endured birth. You can't share either experience" P.D. James The Children of Men Seriously, though, you should aim to have at least one friend in your old age. There's a high chance that you might "die alone" in the sense that there's no one else in the house when it happens, but I've known married people die like that.

Sounds like you're living the dream. Can't really give you much advice (since you're well ahead of me), other than to say that the best cure for "male urges" is to...have a wank. Post-nut clarity gets you right back on your square again. I'll probably get some flack for saying this, but I don't actually have anything against women. Just don't want a relationship with one. If I feel myself tempted to treat a pretty woman differently to the way in which I would treat an ugly woman or man (the sin …

Even in the places feminism forgot, some things are just the same. Mind you, I hear divorce laws are better over there ;)

Shakespeare depicts how people have always been, not how we would like them to be.

If you don't want to...then don't. I'm in a similar situation to you, except I don't see it as a problem. I'm a normal guy, and have nothing against women, but at the same time, I'm not interested in fornication (or "casual sex", as you're supposed to call it now), and am not currently interested in starting a relationship. The media tries to ram down our throats the idea that everyone's having loads of sex, and that you should too, but the best thing is to just do your own thing.

I know. But even today, some grammar nazis insist that you can't, and that it's a sign of societal collapse (or whatever) ;)

I disagree about "they/them". Some grammar purists insist that it should never be used for individuals. However, most people were using this (at least where I'm from) well before all this SJW crap blew up. If we're talking about a hypothetical, third-person individual who could be of either gender, then they/them is fine. As in: "If someone is arrested, they shouldn't talk to the police without a lawyer present" They/them for first- or second-person is, of course, bonkers.

Probably an unpopular opinion here, but you could just have exchanged some banal pleasantries with her. After all, you're not interested in her any more, so why not just wish her a good weekend back, like you would any other acquaintance? If she wants to meet up, just turn her down politely. Going one's own way shouldn't be about hating one's exes (or whamen generally). It should be about recognising that you want different things in life, and therefore doing your own thing. But yeah, don't take…

I'm 39. I'm still perfectly capable of everything I was in my 20s, but over the last 5 years or so I've gradually reached the stage where I do not need to. I can quite happily take it or leave it. And I must admit, it's incredibly liberating! I'm extremely sceptical about no-fap, semen retention and all that- I reckon it's BS. If you fancy a wank, have a wank. It's perfectly natural, so long as that's not all you're doing ever day. Even the classical philosophers talked about this subject: "How …
