Well workers are going to be replaced by robotics even in very cheap companies in the coming decades. Fighting against that is a losing battle, it seems better to try and make the best of it.

No one would plan nuclear war in order to depopulate the earth, you would cause a nuclear winter and destroy the planet. If you're a wealthy elite who has the influence to do these sorts of things there are much more effective and peaceful routes to take.

I just don't see any way around the mass depopulation event you're talking about. And I don't think it'll be a mass killing like you may be suggesting. I think it'll be mostly government incentives not to reproduce combined with the trend towards negative population growth we're already seeing in first world countries. If there aren't enough jobs to go around, the world will be a very unfulfilling place for most of the worlds population even if they were given enough money for everything they ne…

You can be content and still want to improve. In fact, the journey of improvement IS what should bring happiness.

What exactly is wrong with globalism? It seems like the best way forward to me. Automation is going to destroy blue collar jobs in 10-15 years no matter what you do. We're going to have to expand the government to provide for people when there aren't enough jobs left for most people to work, I don't see any way around that.

If you're not good looking don't bother with bars and clubs...? Lol what are you talking about man, those two places are very common spots to meet women for average dudes.

Play audiobooks while getting ready in the morning and going to class. That's easily an hour each day right there.

Status is more important than signs of high testosterone. If being fat was a status symbol, being lean wouldn't be as much of an advantage.

No clue how you managed to get through the book without noticing the major holes in the author's hypothesis. The book presented a very weak argument, even with its cherry picked evidence. We're just as closely related to chimpanzees as bonobos. Why does the author suggest we are so similar to bonobos, but not chimps, who exhibit strict mate guarding?

What's the point of this post? To summarize MFA for RPers that are scared of feeling gay by browsing a fashion forum?

Cardio isn't going to give you the masculine and attractive appearance that lifting does. If you're doing super sets and lifting, it's going to be decent cardio but obviously nothing close to purely cardio workouts.

TRP is not an activist group. The whole point is in describing reality and learning how to navigate it, not changing reality.

Imo, you need concrete goals for it to be a mission. Something vague like being happy doesn't cut it. Your goal can be to be happy, but set some concrete goals to get you there.

Imo, kino isn't that important and a lot can go wrong. What is important is to generate sexual tension, which is what kino does overtly. If you give the girl a hug greeting and generate sexual tension throughout the date, it's easy to go for the make out or bring her back without doing awkward kino touch moves. It's always better to communicate covertly than overtly with women.

You don't want to eliminate desire, you want to let your desire come through. Let your instincts guide you. If you can decently read social cues, rejection doesn't have to be overt. If a woman isn't interested you should be aware of that before she tells you to leave.

Passionately explaining to a woman what you love about a piece of art would be a good example.

I doubt it's that sinister. More likely that feminism leads to a larger workforce, which means lower wages and increased consumption. That's great for business.

The best lies are partially true. His squirt post was solid advice. Honestly, his posts are no different than the rest of the content in this sub. Most of it is worthless speculative bullshit, and some of it is great. I don't think anything said on this sub is useful at all unless you've had personal experiences that can confirm theories posted here. If you took everything here at face value you'd act like an idiot. You need to be able to put things in context and know what to take with a grain …

This isn't true in the US. You don't need straight As to get a job at a big corporation. More like above a 3.0 and having good interview skills.

One thing that has helped me is preparing for tomorrow's tasks the night before. If I'm going to the gym the next day, I lay out socks, shorts, gym shirt, shoes, and have my pre workout waiting in the fridge. If I have class the next day, I'll pack my backpack with everything I need. Lunch for the day is already ready for me. Decision fatigue takes its toll. Ever notice how it's much more difficult to complete a list of miscellaneous and unrelated tasks than a single large task? This really help…

That's not exactly accurate. They rated 80% of men below 2.5/5 stars. I don't think the women were rating the men based on how attractive they are relative to the entire male population, but rather by how sexually desirable they are (anything 2.5/5 or below being not sexually desirable). Women find men either attractive (AF) or not, it's not as much of a continuum as it is when men rate women.

Two new motorcycles, a used 75k car, and a house on 80k? How much are you saving? I don't make that much but that seems like a lot to me.

AlphaGo doesn't work based on pure computation of every possible game state. There's too many possibilities in Go for that to be the basis of the entire algorithm. The algorithm uses probabilities learned from training on top pro games as well as other metrics, so it's much more "thinking" than a chess bot.

Lawyers will get hit the hardest it seems, since many law jobs consist of going through documents, something computers are very good at. Services like IBM Watson could help diagnose 90% of common ailments and reduce the need for general practitioners. CS frameworks will allow software developers to automate the basic implementations of applications, eliminating the need for lower skilled developers.

Go is orders of magnitude more complex in terms of possible game states.

True if you're talking about code monkeys, not talented software devs. Jobs pulling in 150k+ at Google are not going to suddenly become outsourced to India.

If AI can write and improve its own code, we're pretty much at the singularity anyway. Professional software jobs will be some of the last jobs to be automated.

Yeah, just use free online resources and learn computer science! Lol. What is it with people believing software development is so easy to learn? It's really not. A computer science degree is a degree in mathematics/engineering. A large percentage of computer science undergrads drop out, and these are the students who are interested in the field! Just because setting up a hello world app is easy, doesn't mean anyone can learn to code at a professional level. It's like telling someone to go online…

Yeah, if you sell it. It was just a simple example. I'm talking about business advice here, not personal finance. A common example is a real estate business that builds a business park, uses OPM, and makes a ton of money. If the economy crashes, your company loses the same amount of money whether you invest your own money or not because you have to pay back the loan. If you still can't pay back the loan, you declare bankruptcy and the lenders are fucked. Successful businesses use debt as a tool,…

If you think Jesse actually writes the copy for those emails you're a bit deluded. Simple Pickup is a business, they want to distance themselves from TRP because it will make them more money. They most likely employ a team of copywriters to write this stuff, just like any other successful online business. Their copywriters are not even necessarily interested in the manosphere, they're just going to be hired for their copywriting ability. Simple Pickups material is subpar because it appeals to be…

This is horrible advice. You use debt to make more money, it's called leverage. For a simple example, if you took out a $1 million loan for a house with 200k down and the home appreciated by 20%, you just made 200k. That's 100% ROI rather than 20% if you paid for the home in full. Conversely, if the home depreciates by 20% you just lost 200k (your entire down payment). It's more risk for more reward.

I'd argue it's one of the best times, since your competition is so few. You have all the information at your fingertips to learn whatever you'd like. You can start a business with nothing but a laptop and an Internet connection. You can fuck a girl by opening your phone and swiping a few times. I think you need a bit more perspective here.

I don't know the specifics of your date, but I would never pay 100% for something like a Tinder date. I know too many girls that use it for the free food. Pick a casual place for a first date. If a girl is interested, paying $10-15 to meet a quality guy is a trivial expense.

There's so much that can go wrong by trying to insult someone back. No need to respond, either ignore it or agree and amplify. If it really offended you, remember it and get them back sometime down the line.

Unless you're retiring soon, there's no reason to pull your money out of the stock market. And if you're retiring soon, you shouldn't have so much money in stocks anyway. Even if you kept all of your money in prior to the 2008 crash, you would still make all your losses back and more. If you have a long timeframe to invest, buy and hold. When the price drops, buy even more while the stocks are on sale.
