It's indeed annoying, but what bugs me even more is that one of the gym's in my area (Trevor Linden's Club 16) charged the exact same price to men and women, but men get 6 locations and women get about 16. Apparently the gym either owns or is partnered with a women's only gym, and by buying a membership for Club 16 you also get access to all dozen locations of the women's only gym.... for the exact same price. That's fairly ridiculous. What job do you work in where they expect that of you? My office is fantastic, I could show up in a jockstrap and a bowtie and they wouldn't mind. Well they might mind, but I don't think I'd be fired.

Thanks for writing this. The majority of that thread is very frustrating as people seem to be completely ignoring that part of the story. When you add drunkenness to the equation is changes things, it's not as black and white an issue anymore.

Fascism really gave a bad name to forced sterilization. I think it's fantastic to see you arguing for it though. I'm with you on it being something that needs to be looked into. Agreed. Though personally I think that if it's an absolute impossibility for you to be able to care for a child then you shouldn't be having sex. It's equivalent to someone saying "I have 200 dollars which I NEED for rent money and can't possibly risk on anything else" and then strolling into a casino and flipping out when they lose all their money. I think that it's very wrong, and am against it from a moral standpoint. However I'm not stupid enough to believe that outlawing it would actually work. Ideally I would like there to be a way to make it not-allowed but I'm aware that just making it illegal wouldn't deter people in the slightest, and would lead to a whole lot more complications than allowing it. I can say that I would lose a TREMENDOUS amount of respect for any acquaintance of mine who had one though.

I just think that if the REASON it's an issue is because he's a man, then yes support it. Even if it's an issue that only affects gay men, not straight ones. Still men, still having issues, still worthy of the men's rights support.
