1	Womp-womp I can't speak for everyone, but I've done the math out for myself and discovered that 401ks only make sense up to your employer's match, which is typically 5% of your base salary. Maxing out your contribution will result in a ton of money that you can't use without being whacked by taxes. You're probably better off throwing the rest into an index fund which will have a better return rate, plus you'll only have to pay capital gains taxes (and of course the income tax you originally paid on it).	/r/PussyPassDenied	07/01/21 10:35 PM
